Allergies and Intolerance what is the difference?

What can you do with your diet to change things around?

What supplements can you take to change the symptoms?

My clinical experience with the condition, which include NAET, nutrition and Craniosacral therapy treatments as well as healing.

I have worked with people experiencing IBS and digestive health concerns for over 20 years, initially through nutritional therapy and, for the past 15 years, incorporating the NAET method into my practice.

What Is IBS?

Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) is a common condition that can affect the digestive system and may cause symptoms such as abdominal pain, bloating, changes in bowel habits, constipation, diarrhoea, or a combination of these.

IBS can be complex, and symptoms may have several contributing factors. These can include stress, changes in gut bacteria, previous gastrointestinal infections, dietary factors, and individual sensitivities or intolerances.

For some people, symptoms may also appear after an episode of gastroenteritis or following medication use, including antibiotics. These experiences can sometimes be associated with changes in the balance of bacteria in the gut, known as dysbiosis.

Because IBS symptoms can vary so much from one person to another, finding an approach that is appropriate for the individual is important.

How I Work With People Experiencing IBS

During your first consultation, I take a detailed history of your health, nutrition, lifestyle, and digestive symptoms. I also use the NAET method as part of my approach to explore individual responses to foods and other substances.

Based on your consultation and assessment, I may suggest temporarily avoiding certain foods while we work together. I may also recommend nutritional support to help you maintain a healthy and balanced diet and support your digestive wellbeing.

The aim is to create an individualised plan based on your needs rather than applying the same approach to everyone.

Follow-Up Sessions

During follow-up appointments, we work through the areas identified during your initial consultation. Depending on your individual needs, I may combine NAET with craniosacral therapy.

I find that combining these approaches can provide a relaxing and supportive experience, helping clients feel more settled and connected with their body as they work towards their health goals.

Every person’s experience is different, and the number of sessions required will vary. Some people may need additional support with particular foods or sensitivities, while others may notice changes more quickly.

Supporting Your Individual Health Journey

Digestive health can be influenced by many different factors, including nutrition, stress, lifestyle, and individual tolerance to foods. My approach is to look at the whole person and provide personalised support throughout the process.

If you are experiencing persistent digestive symptoms, it is important to seek appropriate medical advice to rule out other conditions and receive a proper diagnosis. Complementary therapies should be considered alongside, rather than instead of, appropriate medical care.

If you would like to explore whether my approach could support you, I would be happy to discuss your individual circumstances and answer any questions you may have.
