The experience on working with babies and mothers is was amazing on the 31.5.26, for mothers, babies and therapists. If you want to practice on working with babies, this is ideal, under my professional supervision, with supports and suggestions.

Review from one of the therapists, thank you:

“I had wanted to work with babies ever since qualifying in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy. I have always felt naturally drawn to babies and, from an early age, found it easy to connect with them.

Over the years, I attended several mother-and-baby courses that provided extensive theoretical knowledge. However, what I felt was missing was the opportunity for supervised, hands-on experience in a teaching clinic environment. For me, this practical element was the vital link I needed to feel fully prepared to work with babies in a responsible and confident way.

When I saw Maria advertising her course, I enrolled immediately. It provided exactly what I had been looking for — a combination of practical experience, knowledge, and guidance that gave me the confidence to launch my own baby clinic.

I would highly recommend this course to any Craniosacral Therapist who wishes to develop their skills and confidence in working with babies.”

Booking early is essential if you want the to attend

This workshop will focus on working with mothers and babies, offering hands-on experience in a small, supportive setting.

Key details:

  • Maximum of 4 therapists per day
  • Opportunity to work directly with 2 babies. (if all goes well, as babies are unpredictable and mothers can be overwhelmed, so sometimes you will be working in pairs with mothers and babies and in the very worse, you will be watching me work with a baby. That is the worse scenerio, and I will always make sure that there will be at least some babies and mothers to work with).
  • I will be present throughout to assist, guide, and offer suggestions
  • Priority will be given to those who have:
    • Attended the community clinic, or
    • Previously taken the workshop “Healing Babies and Mothers Birth Trauma”,
    • However this is open to everyone within the CST from any background and with insurance.
    • I will give some guidance before hand, meditation and connecting to the heart, to letting go of worries, and concerns.
  • Each therapist will ideally work with their own baby, although this may vary depending on attendance on the day.
  • In some cases, two therapists may work together with one mother and baby.
  • I will be present throughout to guide, assist, and offer suggestions.

We will begin with:

  • Guidance on how to hold a baby
  • What to do and not do during sessions
  • Space for questions and discussion
  • Where possible, we will:

Discuss each baby’s reason for attending

  • Allow time for questions during the session when appropriate

At the end of the day, we will come together to:

  • Reflect and discuss each case as a group for shared learning. This will be done after sessions are finished, after a little break.
  • You are welcome to take your own notes throughout the day.
  • Meditation and clearing our space at the end of the day.

At the studio: There is a shoes off inside the studio, do bring slippers or soaks for your comfort.

This is a full on workshop, as we start late, please to have a good breakfast before hand.

When we do have breaks, if you have your own food we can eat in the reception area, and there are plenty of cafe and shops around to buy your own.

The studio does not provide any space for supplying coffee or teas.

This will be an extra-ordinary experience and one of the kind, as you might feel the stillness of all the babies connecting and getting into a stillness of the entire room.

The last two workshops, went well for the babies, mothers and therapists. This was last done by me in 2019, with 14 babies and 14 therapists, as per space, this will be much more cosy to work on.

You might be asked to help with setting up and close down and thank you in advance.

Essential and importance note:

  • Please do not share your contact details with parents. All follow-up will be through me and my practice space.
  • This is to maintain clear professional boundaries within the working environment.
  • The venue is a small hall, so space is limited, and there may be both parents present with some babies.

Places are limited, so early booking is recommended. If there is sufficient interest, additional workshops may be arranged.
