Fasting new trend
The 12 hours fasting new trend!
I was hiking outside London, with many people, and when you are in a big group, you have a lot to talk about. I try not to say what I do, mainly to stay off work for the day, otherwise there are lots of work related questions. While eating with people in the evening, someone mentioned that they had to finish their dinner by 7pm, so that they will have a 12 hours fasting. That is a new trend, some people do a bit more.

Now I was thinking about my eating patterns or timing. And I usually eat my dinner, around max 7pm to 7.30pm. Now, as a habit, and mainly unconsciously, I do not eat anything else after dinner, till breakfast time. And I was thinking, I always do at least a 12 hours fasting. Now I never, skip my breakfast, as that is breaking the fast, and I do have some healthy snacks. Naturally, I do that, without worrying too much about food. I naturally tend to go towards the healthy options, but at the same time, if I want a croissant, biscuit, or a cake and or an unhealthy meal, I never start thinking I need to go on the diet, or hike another 10.000 steps to get over what I have eaten. If you do that, is putting so much pressure and emphasis on food, rather than a healthy mind and body. If you do exercise for pleasure, as you like to move, you get a different result in your weight and health, than if you exercise for the sake of loosing that croissant calorie.
When you eat, eat as you enjoy the food, the healthy food or occasionally the unhealthy food, without being in a state of shame or guilt, and you will see your weight and body/mind changing for the better.

As a Nutritionist, I deal with environmental and food over reactions, but combining it with Craniosacral Therapy and NLP/Mindfulness, gets the best results, as it gets rid of worries and concerns, physically, mentally and spiritually.
I have seen more healing from the combination, but with craniosacral with children, and babies you see that miracle of changes much quicker, and it is always amazing to see how the body and mind can heal itself, if you give the support and tools for it.
In adults it takes a bit more, but the results are amazing! and Life Changing!
