New products and supplements from the food show

Food show new products that I like

I went to the food show last week and as always there are so many new products and old ones that are so good and some not as much. The following are the ones that this year stood up for me. It is just few, however there are many out there that are good:

• One that I bought was a simple plastic gadget that helps with making milk from vegetarian sources in about 5 minutes, using one of the hand blender that most people will have in the house. With this tool you can make nuts milk, rice milk, oats milk etc. The product comes from Spain and they also have recipes to taste the milk a bit. You can put as little as you want or as much as you want to mix it up. If you or your children are allergic to milk this is an alternative. You need to put at least a pinch of salt for each liter of milk as that would preserve the milk for about 3 to 4 days. The product is called ChufaMix and their website is www.chufamix.com . Have a look and see if you like it. I did and I making my own rice or nuts milk which is fun and easy, as well as quick too!
• Eczema cream that comes from Australia free of steroids but seems to be very good. Ingredients are manuka honey UMF 10+, Gotu Kola, Aloe Vera – Organic Calendula and Licorice Root. Any allergies to any of the ingredients please avoid, however is on the skin and you can try as little as you want before putting that on. Seems very good. It helps eczema, psoriasis and dermatitis. Of course you need to avoid or treat with NAET (which I do) for the allergies or intolerances and combine nutrition and supplement from the inside too. The product is called Hope’s Relief and their website is www.hope-relief.com
You can also become a case study for the product or your child can and get the product for free. So do try and let me know how it goes.
• Flora tea which is flower teas. I love the flower teas they look so great and posh but also very tasty. You can try them on www.floratea.com
• Baby and adult probiotics to add from Proven probiotics – baby Probiotis LAB4 which is good for vegan and vegetarian (no milk or lactase) Can be bought at the nutricenter as in my details if you have seen me before. They have done a study research on them and proven to reduce colics and support the intestinal tract and for safety for babies from 0 time. The conclusion of the studyt was that it prevents the overgrowth of undesirable bacteria population following antibiotics therapy. As well as confirming that LAB4b probiotics were safe for healthy newborns and their mothers. Also it prevented atopic sensitization and atopic eczema in susceptible babies. Read the trial and reference on www.lab4probioticstrials.com
• New nuts (which is not a nut but a root). Carya Hickory nuts. Very tasty for a snack. It is high in minerals, vitamins and healthy fats. Website http://www.hickory-nuts.com
• Neptune krill oil (comes from Canada). It seems to be more absorbed into the body in higher quantity. As I mentioned in the past blog krill oil gets into the blood stream via the phospholipid that it contains and it is high in anti-oxidants. You need a bit less than the normal fish oil and as it is more expensive it is worth to buy if you have a big problem with inflammation or your bad cholesterol is high. Website www.nutrisan.com full of vitamin B12 (if absorbed that is a good news for vegans). Low GI index, contains about 15 essential vitamins and minerals. So look it up at the food shops.
• New plant sugar which is healthier than the normal sugar. Sugavida it seems to
• Check the www.nutricentre.com for the above products.
• Also one of my favourite supplement company G and G www.gandgvitamins.com
