Follow your heart

Since I started cranio-sacral therapy I have been told to feel from the heart when you work and opening the heart. I have been not understood that much until 2 years ago when I kept reading about spiritual books of all sorts and got my self a bit into healing for myself and now naturally using for my client. I was thinking about children and babies of now. Our generation and our parents were pretty much survivors of wars and therefore the priority was to teach the kids a survivor skills rather than teaching them to follow their heart in what they wanted to do for life. Some countries are still in that survivor mode and the teaching is still the same. Some have tried to mix with the modern now days world and are clashing because of that.

Humans like many animal or mammals have a higher brain than some smaller animal. We know that scientifically we use our brain in different ways, one in a more scientific way with wanted prove of everything, and the other in a more artistic way with no logic involved. The two usually work pretty much together and mix and much most of the time. But we also have a third brain which is connected pretty much to our soul, who does not think logically at all, but senses the paths for us for our highest good. I know why many people who have achieved a higher level of knowledge say follow your heart especially in a relationship or a work path that one wants to take. There is no logic in following the heart and there is no guarantee that following the heart will give you what you thought you wanted. The majority of the time it does, but you need that trust and faith without having that guarantee, so you need to follow it even though logically it does not make sense. Many of the greater achiever have done so. Some of the most big business man I am sure combine their scientific brain with the heart brain and therefore achieve the most that they can have professionally and personally.

What I would like to say is that the world of now and mainly the most modern world is beyond surviving, the kids of now wants to live and wants to have a say in their future and what they want to do, even though it is not what us as parents think is the best for them. Most of the time they will be right, as long as we teach them to follow their heart and intuition they will achieve what our generation has not. We are the one that had to struggle between the old and new and quite often our conflict has ended in loosing an opportunity to achieve that greatness by ourselves or with another person.

So if you are a person struggling to understand what you really want and what you have been taught to follow, follow your heart even though it is not easy and you might get scared, combine the two, brain and heart and you will reach a highest self that might scare you at the beginning but then will take you where your soul really wants you to go. If you are a parent make sure that you give your child choices and give them a sense of intuition of where he would like to go, as that will give him the responsibility of his own choices wrong or right and therefore the confidence to choose his own path eventually without struggling with himself. And plenty of love for yourself and others will make the journey much better too….
