Craino-Sacral and Somato emotional release (it means releasing emotional trauma from the physical tissue)
I now understand what John Upledger, in his book “Somato Emotional Release”, meant in memories from childhood, staying in your tissue and being stored in the cells that will affect the person in his/her choices in life unknown to them.
We all grow up, mostly with parents that had been told that as a parent you have absolutely every control over our children that they do not know anything and when we say so it is so! Quite a lot of us have grown up with that parenting, some less than others and some more than others. Our parents have no fault of their own, they were mostly on the survival mode and therefore no time to argue with kids of what is the best for them.
Their own upbringing and social environment meant that dealing with anything was pretty hard and in order to deal with what they needed to deal they had all the control of what was good or bad for the children, with no saying at all from us as children. This does not mean that is our parents fault for everything and blame everything on them, even though for some can be a choice and luckly now we have that choice and understanding. Here is the link to what effects that early life would make on the future kids, from birth to two years old it is the most important time for their neurons to form on the most positive way of seeing themselves and others and their experience in life: click here to read about that. Even during pregnancy the fetus start hearing the mother and father voices and would recognize a book that you would read over and over again after their birth, as well as any of the song that you would sing or listen too. By the time of 26 weeks they can hear all that, but even before that they can feel your hands or the father hands or anybody else who loves them!
Now, there is a difference between being listened to and being a child without rules and disciplines. A child still needs rules and discipline but with the thoughts of understanding why there are rules at school, with their friends and family and with our society. So that we can all live together with respect and harmony.
Somato Emotional Release with craniosacral therapy is one of the way to get any of the possible trauma that an adult or a baby had since birth and before birth as it is also possible that the baby feels any of the emotional upset and ups and down of the mother during the pregnancy and that is what CST would deal with during the sessions.
If you have managed to do some hypnobirthing with Katrina Berry, that would have been taken the most stress out for the birth but also for later to deal with stress, especially if your tendency is to be anxious, as well as treatments with craniosacral therapy with me which would take that stresstime from the tissue and therefore from the baby which would benefit when he is born too.
During my pregnancy I did not know anything about the above therapies and my labour was for me and my son. IMy pregnancy was great, and my plan for the pregnancy was even greater, water birth, which I did the introduction to it, no chemical at all. Well unfortunately it did not go that way, and at the end I had everything. My son was lucky that s was born naturally and at the end I was pain free during the time I had epidural. However my body tissue held the trauma of the birth inside and even after 7 years (when I did my craniosacral training) it was still stored there, with me prior to the treatments having a lots of lower back problem which would return after few sessions of any therapy that I did prior to CST. My son, luckily, had his treatments at 1 year and half when I discovered CST as he kept being ill all the time with lunch infections and colds. Because I took him later it took his system a year before adjusted nicely and well. Now when he gets a cold, he recovers in few days, very quickly. He knows when to stop because he is not well and he will say it! And I know that when he says that is because he is not well.
