Low grade allergies are worse that the allergies you know you have

Low grade allergies are the allergies and sensitivities that you do not know you have. They cause very low inflammation in the body, but still will end up with the possible feelings:

  • Bloating stomach;
  • sneezing at times that the stress level is high;
  • Dry skin areas;
  • Constipation;
  • Tiredness, even when you had a really good sleep;
  • Asthma;
  • Breathing difficulties;
  • Emotional and mental irritation;
  • ADHD (Attention Deficiency Hyperactivity Disorder) symptoms like, for children and adults such as low energy, low attention span, on the move all the time, etc. and many more

Testing and treating with NAET method, has been a life changing for many children and adults and it is worth trying it, especially if you have already tried everything else, read the testimonial about the treatments with NAET and craniosacral combined under the testimonial button.

Cannabidiol (CBD) oil. The pro and cons for humans and pets

Hemp leaf

Cannabidiol (CBD) oil pro and cons for humans and pets

In the recent years or at least from 2018, there has been a big raise of the awareness of CBD oils for health conditions, such as arthritic pain, pain from muscles conditions, anxiety and epilepsy in humans and pets.

I had a look recently, just out of curiosity, a bit more deeply into the effects and what is the best in the market for various conditions. Many companies now advertise for the benefit of certain condition, including epilepsy for dogs. CBD has not yet been approved by the FDA, apart for the medicinal drug made for epilepsy that can only be suggested by the doctors.

The veterinary association has not yet approved for CBD oil for pets, even though there have been many cases that have shown to benefit pets taking CBD. Now it is also important that if you decide to use it for your pet, to use one that is organic, made in UK, and that has no THC, which is the one that gives the high. If it is broad spectrum, then there is a chance that has some THC, if it is “Isolate CBD” then does not have THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol). Also, the extraction should be by CO2 instead from any chemical extractions. Use a UK brand as well. That is for pets. Which it has been suggested that the pet might benefit for it for anxiety, pain and epilepsy conditions.

For human conditions, depends on the amount of pain, or anxiety/insomnia and other conditions that they might have. If the problem is insomnia or anxiety, it might be that there is a need of no THC as well. Even though THC is the one that has been suggested to decrease pain, by giving the “high” state of mind.

There is also medicinal marijuana that now-days many people seem to have a need for, especially many young people, for whatever reason they are using it, it could be that they are emotionally in pain and that relieve their pain.

Did you know that phytocannabinoids are in many plants, the C Sativa or marijuana plants, hemp oil, and also in carrots, cloves, black pepper, ginseng and echinacea!

Now most of the food above have no THC, so no high from eating carrots, but you can have an anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant effect by eating or taking the above foods.

Now in UK, THC and CBD oils have been used for reduction of pain and spasticity in certain conditional disease, including arthritic pain and anxiety.

Just to note that even though CBD oil and hemp oils do not contain high intoxicating THC, it is not illegal to sell them, however they have no regulation yet and there are many in the market now with no guarantee of working or its safety levels. Even though most companies in UK have their own regulation and seems to be pretty safe.

Any products that derived from the hemp seed only, has no THC at all but they are high in omega 3 and 6.

Things to notice when deciding to try CBD oil for human consumption:

It is only when the leaves and flowers are used in their products that might have a certain percentage of THC which vary from 0.1% to a max of 3% dry products, above that would be illegal. The other thing to notice before buying is that the product is certified organic, good UK brand and CO2 extraction, which usually they would say. In studies with CBD oil using up to 300mg for 6 months, where fairly safe. Higher amount might not be as sage but could be more beneficial. As with everything we are all different in the reaction of what we take and you need to check your safety level.

Supplements that say are “full-spectrum” formulas that contain hemp oils, or CBD enriched products are quite popular right now. They are used in in the forms of oil, balm spray, pet chewing toy, gummy bears, capsules and more. There are food products such as clove, hops, ashwagandha and turmeric that contains phytocannabinoids and terpenoids, which reduce inflammation and also increase sleep and in some studies with the CBD oils in rats, seem to work on the amygdala, which is the neurological gland that trigger the fear stress mode and hence anxiety. There is a need again of more research and studies on the effect of the plants and what other ingredients in the plants that would have the same effects.

Did you know also that “spices” can also have cannabinoids, which for some people, is the cause of allergic reactions. So do watch if you take CBD oil that you are not allergic to it as well.

There is a need of more research on the effect or side effect of the CBD oil, but meanwhile, as many people and pet owners do find it that their conditions do improve, we can all be a kind of guinea pigs, like many others medication that we do not know much about, and hope that we do not have a very strong reaction to it.

Warning: Do not take CBD oil if you are in any medication unless prescribed by the doctor.

From research studies here are the possible side effects of taking CBD oil with THC:

  • CBD oil should not be consumed by children, especially with THC as intoxication has been reported by taking them, this is especially in so called spices with CBD added.
  • Allergic reactions
  • Diarrhea
  • Drowsiness
  • Feeling of High with THC for more sensitive people or people who have slow hepatic detoxification pathway

Warning: the above information is meant for your interest only, they are not suggestions, or recommendations and this site does not take any responsibility for your own choice on how you use this information.

Allergies can reduce immunity!

NAET (Nambudripad Allergy Elimination treatment) & craniosacral treatment

Eczema before treatment

A low-grade inflammation, which might be caused by constant allergies or high allergies can trigger part of the immune system to go down. The part that can be reduce is the one that fights viruses. People can be allergic to anything and this depends on many things, genetic, first exposure and how the body system at the time of the 1st exposure was, e.g. high stress level. I have seen in the past 15 years adults and children go down with their over reaction to natural food and the environment, by using the method NAET and combining it with craniosacral therapy. The change can be immediate or might take few therapy sessions to see the major changes. Either way you still get a huge benefit from being tested in a non-invasive way through the NAET method and being relaxed and settled with the craniosacral therapy. Each session might show a different layer of healing the body, and each session will take the person or child to a different level of body, mind and soul healing. It is amazing to see how each person transform and feel different from when they first come in. The life around them also change, and the way they deal with life changes and challenges change completely. I know of some of my client, that have had a life change experience that were not expected and probably would not be ready to have, if they did not have the treatments. That is as their focus of energy shifts from their body over reaction, to a state of mind that is full of potential and hope for the future!

Long COVID fight it with nutrition and craniosacral therapy

I read and hear of long COVID symptoms from many people, including one of my friends who had a long tiredness for a while and could not shake it off. The majority of the long COVID symptoms are the ones that had the lung problems. Now having had the stomach COVID last year, I know what that fatigue was about. I dealt with it with nutrition and craniosacral healing. When I had the flu, I felt afterwards that my entire system was out of balance. That can be with a combination of low nutrients status due to the immune system using a lot of the body resources to fight the virus, and the shock to the physical body. Staying also immobile, due to the tiredness, for 10 days, might also put the body into a more state of fatigue and muscle waste.

What I found that helped is a high particular nutrients supplements, plus a craniosacral/healing session to put my system and mind, back to normal.

It took me a month to be fully recovered, for some, might take more than one session of craniosacral healing to settle, depending on how long they have been in a state of tiredness.

Nutritional value of figs

Black figs

The Ficus tree is same family of the mulberry tree. They are unusual in the fact that the fruit is like an inside out flower.

Some do not consider them vegetarian or vegan as a wasp might die in the inside of the fruit and the wasp metamorphosis into the fruit. Nothing will remain of the wasp, and it is a natural event, but many will not eat it for this reason. I suppose it would be the same for the wine, as in making the wine, wasps and insect will be in that boiling fermenting wine.

They have an opening called the “ostiole” or “eye”, that is not connected to the tree but that helps the fruits development, which communicate with the environment.

Figs are very sweet and they have a chewy texture as well to their skin and flesh. The crunchiness is due to the seeds that they are full of. The fresh figs do not last long, so needs to be eaten within few days or max a week. Hence, they are often dried, either by exposure to sunlight or through an artificial process.

My parents have three trees and hence my mum decided to dry them in the sunshine in Italy for the winter. My parents are the reason I became a nutritionist, I saw first-hand the nutritional value of food. Unfortunately, I did not get the same green finger!

Figs vary in color, from green to black and red purple, depending from their origins. Figs are from the Mediterranean and Middle East and they have been around for a long time.

The figs nutrients, apart for being a very good fibre source, they have high simple sugars (hence 1 fig is enough for the day), They are rich in potassium, calcium, magnesium, iron, copper, and manganese.

Eight to 10 figs will supply you with 249 calories, 9.8 grams of fiber and 47.9 grams of natural sugars from glucose and fructose, as well as 162 mg of calcium and 680 mg of potassium.

Figs are very good for the intestine, because they supply food for the friendly bacteria, they are alkaline foods, so good to balance your blood pH. The figs leaves have shown to reduce the insulin injection need. More research is needed for this, but good start. Someone, somewhere said that all the answer for our health is in nature! I think so too!

Sage and Basil benefits, including supporting the immune system and the respiratory system

Sage benefit

Sage extract has been researched and studies for various conditions. It is one herb that my mother and her mother in turn used for many things, including hot flushes in menopause. My mum never had any hot flashes and I do not recall my grandmother having any either. My parents are the ones that unconsciously drove me to choose a nutritional degree here in England and being a therapist and caring for others, is from my mum side. Salvia (sage), as it is called in the official term is one of the largest genus of the plant Lamiaceae, which mint, basil, oregano, lavender, rosemary and thyme belong too. There many species of sage worldwide. It is mainly a Mediterranean herb, and it is used for teas and cooking. It is interesting that this herb meaning of the name from the Latin dictionary, means “to heal”. You can make teas from it, as I mention before and drink it few times a day, especially for menopause women and man with hot flashes. It has been studied to help with Alzheimer and memory, diabetes, liver detox, is an anti-inflammatory herb.

It has been used in the Europe in the past for:

Digestive issues;

Circulation;

Angina;

Bronchitis;

Coughs;

Asthma

Memory problems;

Mouth and throat inflammation;

Depression;

Hyperlipidemia

Excessive sweating (hot flashes);

It is a cleansing of the body and also the air and energy around you. If dried, sage is burned and it has been used for clearing the rooms of low and stagnant energy. It clears the air in a nutshell.

You can see how in the past and still in some Countries, are still used for certain ailments from people, instead of taking medications! This is a preventative herb as well as minor problems above, rather than a medication. In supplementation, can be used for more symptomatic problems. Warning: If you are taking any medication always consult an herbalist or your doctor before taking any sage supplement.

Basil benefit

Basil like sage belong to the same family of Lamiaceae. It is used in the meditarrenan culinary for many dishes, cooked and uncooked. Traditional it has been used as a medicinal herb for various ailments, such as:

  • headaches,
  • coughs,
  • diarrhea,
  • constipation,
  • warts,
  • worms
  • kidney disorders.
  • Respiratory problems

It has been used also as an antimicrobial and antifungal as well as immunomodulator. In Italy basil is used with tomato sauces and on top of the toasted bread with fresh tomato as in the traditional “bruschetta”.

Dealing with Phobias with Neuro-linguistic programming and craniosacral therapy

Fear seems to be one of our innate system that can either save us from danger or in our modern lives, keep us frozen in time. When a certain event that caused a strong fear, from childhood to adults, and that fear is reinforced day by day, then anxiety and phobias starts to arise. How we deal with our fears, it depends on our inner resources. Some people or children, might develop a phobia or anxiety attack in certain situation and others will be absolutely fine. This all depends on the unconscious and the memory that we retain. Quite often the negative fear memory or the event can be distorted and exaggerated by the mind. It depends on the internal support that that child or adult has and the external support. The negative fear loop can be changed in an adult by seeing the events in a different way and in a safe space. For children is reinforcing the safety of the event or possible danger with advice, e.g., if a child is scared of the dark, reassuring that child that is ok and he is safe even in the dark will help them waking up in the middle of the night terrorized if the light is off. This is a small example. In adults’ phobias can be stemming from a single event and reinforced every time that something triggered that memory. With NLP and CST, we work together in changing that memory so that the person feels ok.

For example, one of my clients was terrorized of snake, even if he saw them on a newspaper. We worked with Craniosacral therapy and NLP to reduce that fear, so that he could travel, with cautious but not terrorized of moving or travelling, where possibly snakes would be around. Obviously, he would be careful of not stepping into one, but he could see a film and read magazines, where snakes were presents, without triggering his fight and flight stress response or even a panic attack.

Where and how fear is sensed, which then could become a phobia:

  • Ears – a certain sound can trigger the fear from an event, e.g., if you grew up in a war zone and then moved away, fireworks or a car backfiring would trigger that stress/fear response.
  • Eyes – Seeing anything that would remind you of a certain event would trigger the stress/fear response (mainly the amygdala, a gland in our brain that senses fear and then send the signal to another gland (hypothalamus) for the stress response to be activated.
  • Touch – The sensation of touching something that reminds you of the fear, will lead again to that stress response.
  • Memory/unconscious or conscious: Just thinking of a particular event or similar would lead to the stress response.
  • Sensing/taste/smell: All this sensation will trigger the stress response to the event or similar situation that caused exaggerated fear.
  • Knowing/feel of energy around us: For the most sensitive people, that sense of knowing that something is dangerous will lead to that stress response.

The right amygdala seems to be more connected and activated with fear conditioning, while the left is more connected with the non-conditioning fears. The conditioning fears are the ones that were strengthen by society or growing up and the environmental circumstances, while the non-conditioning one could be related to one event or thought. Phobias are persistent fears of situations, activities, or even avoidance of people or gender. People with this type of fear, will work very hard to avoid it at all cost. In my life I have encountered people who were terrorized of feathers. This type of fear, could lead the person to stay indoors more often as feathers are very difficult to avoid from the birds and pigeons. There are children that are terrorized of dogs, even though they have never had a traumatic event. This could easily be reinforced by the responsible adults who might have had a bad experience with dogs themselves, or other religious reasons. Another example of phobias is taken a lift, or going through a tunnel. This again can be life restricting experience if not dealt with.

Fear conditioning has been studied in numerous species, from snails to humans.

  • In humans, conditioned fear is often measured with verbal report and galvanic skin response (the hair raises up in fear).
  • In other animals, conditioned fear is often measured with freezing (a period of watchful immobility) or fear potentiated startle (the augmentation of the startle reflex by a fearful stimulus).
  • Changes in heart rate breathing and muscle responses, and eventually panic attack, which will lead to phobias.

A number of theorists have argued that conditioned fear coincides substantially with the mechanisms, both functional and neural, of clinical anxiety disorders.

There is a direct relationship between the activation of the amygdala and the level of anxiety the subject feels. Fear responses can include freeze, startles and increase in heart rate and sweating.

People with exaggerated fears or phobias, quite often trigger a stress response, even by anticipating the possible event or conditioned that they are scared about. A person can be into a panic by just thinking that they will go through a tunnel the next day. Another possible scenario is meeting a manager at work that has caused constant stress, hence, the person might physically be ill all the time, when they need to meet the manager one to one or in a group session.

The solution, which is easy and long lasting, that I found works for many people with fears/phobia is Neuro-linguistic programming and craniosacral therapy together.

This might take one or more session to reboot the brain to settle in a more relaxed and balanced way. It depends on the history of the person on how long it will take to get to a balance state of mind.

The phobia might go on the first session, but the way a person deals with any emotional threat might take a bit more.

Inheritance Trauma – What it is and what you can do?

There are many researches now that mention the possible connection with the trauma from grandparents to the grandchildren. We have many memory cells and since the first human on earth we have learned from experience and passed on that experience via our memory cells. If somebody was eaten by a tiger, or worse, the survivor human who saw it or witness it, would have that memory in them and pass on that trauma to the next generation for them to be aware of the tiger. It could be that the human would stay away from the tiger as an inner instinct that was pass on in our memory cells (all theory as this is very difficult to show in the scientific way).

© Inheritance Trauma

The research and studies done so far have connected trauma from past generation to the new generation, and especially the Holocaust survivors and the grandchildren of the survivor where it seems to be a connection between the “Hypothalamic-Pituitary-Adrenal Axis (HPA-axis). This means the stress response in certain situation is much higher than any other person that did not have parents with traumatic events.

My small sample of that is that my grandparents suffered more scarcity of food, and my parents growing up had the same. I grew up with my parents making sure that we always had enough food or plenty of food, and still to these days my mum stores more food that they can ever eat. During the pandemic, that was even more essential due to fear of not being able to get to the supermarket for food. So, for my parents, food or lack of, is the biggest enemy.

And in some way, that might have been passed on to me in an unconscious way, hence my choice of becoming a nutritionist and making food also my priority in some way or another.

In many studies, the traumatic events are only imprinted in some way in the cellular memory, when the survivor of the trauma reacted to the trauma with long term stress response and lifestyle changes. With the pandemic for example, everyone has been affected in some way or another, but many people have been affected more strongly according to the way they can cope with stress and life challenging. This seems to be in accordance to how their own parents dealt with stressful situation, unless they learn another way of dealing with traumatic events or have healed whatever trauma they had themselves in the past or their grandparents.

I have seen this ancestral healing many times in the craniosacral sessions and now with the neuro-linguistic programming, where the person is linking the possible trauma with a past ancestral trauma, which comes either from the father or mother side. It is amazing to see once that is healed, how the person life unfolds in a different direction and behavior for future stressful event. In some studies, the transgenerational transmission of trauma (TTT) has been connected to not only the holocaust grandchildren, but from survivors of war trauma, childhood sexual abuse, refugees, torture victims and many other samples. Even though there have been a lot of studies, it is very hard to prove such a thing as a genetic transmission of trauma.

Energetically I can say yes, this is what happens, as I have seen that many times in my own clients for the past 10 years through craniosacral therapy. Scientifically harder to prove. In reality as long as my clients gets better, that is where my loyalties go, rather than having a scientific evidence of it. Even with the placebo effect, if it works, well it works. If the clients feel much better after letting go of a trauma that was not theirs to keep or to hold on to, well it is good to let it go!

In some of the research on the topic, some of the children or grandchildren have nightmares of being chased and tortured like they were living their parents lives during the war. Where do the dreams come from? Considering that in the studies the children did not see any of the war films and I am sure their parents will never put them through that, where do the nightmares come from?

“Epigenetics is defined as the study of heritable changes in gene expression that are not due to changes in the underlying DNA sequence” (Kellermann N.P.F.).

The gene expression changes will be the consequence of environmental stress and major emotional trauma that would leave a mark on the memory cells. Our body will carry this type of memory in all our body cells, this includes eggs in women and sperm in men. This memory is then passed on into the new born chromosomes and hence will be processed as their own trauma. This will lead to a constant reminder of past events, our own or our ancestor’s past.

This type of memory can be passed on from generation to generation, if not solved and let go.

From the start of my craniosacral therapy and healing learning, I have been healing and clearing not only my past childhood trauma, but also my ancestor’s trauma.

I cleared that for my next generation too, energetically, so that the trauma will not be carried on to the next generation. I know that the healing works, as I can see the changes in myself and also subsequently through my next generation

This concept cannot be understood by the logical mind, and hence is impossible to explain it in a sound and scientific way, as I mentioned above. Remember if it works, it works!

Loss of taste and smell, with or without COVID-19

Olfactory sensory and gustatory both to function well depends on the nerve receptors, the G protein that are found in our mouth and nose and they are both connected to the brain function through neurological connections.

A healthy person has got more than 10.000 taste buds and about 100 million of receptors for the sense of smell.

  • Both the sense of smell and taste are connected to the nerve brain function and in particular to certain cranial nerves. And both need certain nutrients such as sodium and energy production to make up either the smell or the taste that we need.
  • So, lots of vitamins and minerals from our diet, including some sodium or salt.
  • The main sensory tastes are five: sour, sweet, salt, bitter and umami taste, which taste of meat. Any other taste is usually made of the combination of these five primary ones.
  • If we eat a lot of salty foods though, our taste of salty food will be more developed than any other taste and if we eat more of the sweet food than our sweet taste is more. The good news is that if you avoid too much of the salty foods or sweet food, the taste changes within two weeks, and hence you might be craving less of too much salt or too much sweet, this goes for meat or any of the primary tastes.
  • In a healthy person, any food that does not taste good will be avoided, this is part of our survival mechanism. I wonder if with allergies, many people avoid certain foods after they reacted once with them as part of the survival mechanism. This mechanism is the connection with the neurological part of our brain.
  • Usually with NAET method, that brain connection to a certain allergen is rebooted and hence a healthy food or food group can be reintroduced without the brain giving the signal to attack it through the immune system.
  • New olfactory receptors (neuron receptors) are replaced every month, and they are the only mature neurons receptors that would do this in our body. The smell receptors and neurological pathway are connected also to the tear glands, hence when there is a strong odor usually will lead to crying.
  • Did you know that women often have a higher sense of smell than men, especially during ovulation?
  • Did you know that smoking reduces the sense of smell strongly, and in long term smoking will damage the olfactory receptors permanently?
  • Age also reduces the sense of smell, from 65 years old onwards.
  • Did you know that zinc deficiency can lead also to loss of sense of smell and taste?
  • Head injury can reduce or destroy your sense of smell and taste and certain drugs, Parkinson disease, Alzheimer and anti-histamine, steroids, will all reduce the sense of smell.
  • Did you know that emotions are also connected to the sense of taste? Hence it is possible that when we crave certain foods, might be due to the state we are in. Recognizing that state of emotion can also stop craving and eating certain unhealthy foods.
  • Eating sweet foods evoke emotions of pleasure and bitter ones can cause expression of disgust even in newborn babies. It is because of this link that humans and animal learn to avoid certain foods to avoid having an upset digestive system.

Brain connected to the gut, and gut connected to the brain

There are more and more evidence now days that the gut health is connected to the brain and vice-versa. Now it is also essential that you pay attention to the brain that is connected to the gut.

Your state of mind will make you choose what you want to eat, drink and exercise that you want to do as well.

A good way to start your morning and finish your day is to do some affirmation, and specifically the power of “I AM…………”, is what we are talking about here today:

” I AM LOVE” –

“I AM HEALTH”

“I AM WELL”

“I AM FEELING WELL”

“I AM LIGHT”

“I AM COMPASSION”

“I AM RESPECT”

“I AM KINDNESS”

“I AM …….

You can add anything that you need in your life and repeat the I AM few times a day in your mind or aloud, or at least when you wake up in the morning and evening!

The importance of B12 from babies/children to adults:

B12 is one of the vitamins that have been given less importance till people becomes vegans and then lots more research started to show up. B12 is connected to the liver function as well as the stomach.

Baby on Hands
Baby on hands.

The liver contains an anti-pernicious-anaemia factor called cobalamin, which is a form of B12. B12 is essential for growth in animals and humans, hence essential to have a good supply of B12 during pregnancy, especially if have been vegan for a long time, as B12 storage might be low.

Of the compounds group of B12 the most active in humans is the cyanocobalamin. All of the B12 compound contain cobalt (hence the names).

  • The key functions of the B12 compounds are growth, homocysteine reduction, maintenance of nerve issues (hence was connected to the possibility of having stomach inflammation in children and possibly autism in past research).
  • B12 is also a co-enzyme for various other vitamin, it means that without the B12 other nutrients function might be affected. Some of the nutrients are niacin, riboflavin and manganese. B12 works with folic acid and B6 to reduce the homocysteine levels.
  • Key function in the making of nucleic acids such as thymine (part of the DNA) and the formation of deoxyribose from ribose (essential part of RNA ribose, and deoxyribose DNA).
  • B12 keeps the body antioxidant that is found the liver called glutathione in a biological reduce state (essential for detox of the body toxins).
  • B12 is also a key factor in one of the fat metabolisms.

Vitamin B12 absorption can be low especially if there is a disruption in the gastric function. There is an intrinsic factor compound that allows the B12 to be absorbed, and with intestinal tract problems this factor is absent.

Why deficiency occur:

  • B12 main known symptoms of deficiency is pernicious anaemia. In this case only injection of B12 can reduce the deficiency, as often is the absorption the problem for this or being vegan for a very long time without considering the intake of B12.
  • People that have been taking proton pump inhibitors or H2 blockers for more than 12 months are at risk of low B12.
  • People with any Irritable bowel disease, taking metformin for more than 4 months, people who have had gastric surgery and any other bowel surgery needs B12 injection, strict vegan needs to consider supplementing B12 especially if they are considering having children. People with Irritable bowel syndrome and any allergy affecting their bowel they need to consider B12 sublingual as well.
  • In mild cases the deficiency will show from mild fatigue to neurological problems. Has B12 is stored in the liver, a person can be ok for 10 years till the symptoms appear.

In babies and children of mothers with low storage of B12 it can be quite low, hence do watch if the baby has a problem with the bowel, gets constipated or has diarrhoea especially after weaning or the mother has been vegetarian and eating no eggs or vegan.

  • In animal research B12 deficiency will result in poor growth rate and low brain development, as well as eyes and bone problems.
  • Neurologic manifestations are caused by progressive demyelination and can include peripheral neuropathy, areflexia (muscles do not respond to stimulus).
  • Loss of proprioception and vibratory sense (this also can be seen in autistic children). Areflexia can be permanent if neuronal death occurs in the posterior and lateral spinal cord tracts, again watch this in babies and children.
  • Maternal vitamin B12 deficiency during pregnancy or while breastfeeding may lead to neural tube defects, developmental delay, failure to thrive, hypotonia, ataxia, and anaemia.
  • In my experience food involved in the disruption of the intestinal tract from babies to children to adults are dairy foods, gluten or wheat, eggs, soy products in some and possibly chilly foods.

Humans need about 3 to 5 micrograms of B12 daily. If the person has a lot of stomach problems, poor absorption of all nutrients, they need to make sure to sort that out before low nutrients develop.

The vitamin is stored in the liver and usually in pregnancy B12 is passed on from the mother to the baby via the placenta. B12 elimination is via urine.

About 30% of B12 is destroyed in food by cooking.

B12 is found mainly in animal food: meat, fish, cheese, eggs, cheese, and some fortified cereals, even though if on a vegan diet, I would suggest to take a sublingual B12, especially if you plan to have a baby. This is essential for men too.

Distance Healing and NLP combined treatment

Switch to draftPreviewUpdateAdd title

Distance healing treatments (under the Angel Guide Certificate) and NLP combined treatment

How it works:

We arrange a time slot for the sessions to start and finish. A 10 to 20 minutes chat and NLP tool if appropriate will be suggested during the chat.

I will ask to fill the same form as any of my treatments for the health check form prior to the treatments.

The distance healing will be done only if the person is suitable for that and I will ask questions prior to the treatments and paid session via email.

After receiving the health check form and the understanding the distance healing is as powerful and healing as face to face craniosacral therapy, in a different way. The distance healing might not suit everyone.

I will explain how to go ahead with the distance healing during my initial chat.

I will ask the person to set an alarm clock for 45 minutes after the initial chat for the healing to take place. You might find that during the healing sessions, you feel various feelings and sensation or clearing and body adjusting to the healing. The treatment will have the same benefit of craniosacral Therapy, click here to see the benefit of it.

I suggest that during the 1-hour session, you will be in a safe and peaceful room where you will not be disturbed for the 1 hour. Ignore door bells, phone calls and any other distractions. It is your responsibility to make sure that you will not be disturbed during your healing.

I will teach the anchoring of safety, in case during the healing session you might experiences an inappropriate negative reaction or emotions. We will have a chat about it after the 45 minutes finishes. During the actual distance healing our phone will be off or in silence as for not getting disturbed. Make sure that the alarm on your phone or clock is on snoozer in case you fall deeply asleep.

I will summarize what I felt during the session that needed attention. Usually like craniosacral therapy, a body balance and adjustment will happen from straight away to 5 days and longer after the session. Any more questions about the distance healing can be answered via email prior to the appointment.

In order for you to book your time slot, you need to email me and we talk about what your need is.

Below is how you can book your place.

Fee for the NLP treatment and more same as a normal one (online only) face to face is £ 50.00, to be paid at least one day prior to the consultation by bank transfer to Maria Esposito she will send the details to you when you ask.

Paypal payments click on the button below for distance craniosacral healing (this is extra healing)

There is a 24 hours cancellation policy for the bookings and any cancellation after that will be charged at full price.

Some of the changes will take place from during the sessions for some people, up to five days after the treatment.

Some of the changes needs to be implemented by the person, as any suggestions given are valid according to my experiences and it is essential that you follow them to see what works and what needs to be changed still.

It has long been known that a nutritionally balanced diet improves a person’s mental and physical health and provides a general sense of well-being. However, an imbalanced diet or one that contains foods to which an individual is allergic or intolerant to may lead to adverse health conditions such as digestive disorders, low energy or mood swings.

Each person is different…

While there are general guidelines to a good, balanced diet and people should consume a wide variety of foods, a person’s unique biochemical make up may mean that he or she should eat certain foods and avoid others.

Nutritional Therapy (NT) looks at the individual’s diet and lifestyle in order to identify and correct biochemical imbalances that may lead to body dysfunction. NT works to locate the root of the problem and help the body heal itself.

A NT consultation enables the practitioner to make an in-depth analysis of an individual’s diet and discover the aspects that could be causing health problems.

Studies and research have shown that minerals, diet and vitamins can have a positive effect on certain conditions such as:

Migraines and headaches

Sinus problems

Food intolerances/Allergies

Long COVID symptoms

Skin problems

Female hormonal and menstrual imbalances

Arthritis (improving life quality)

Weight problems

Lack of energy

Bloating, constipation, diarrhoea

Frequent colds and infections

Premenstrual syndrome

Candida

Irritable Bowel syndrome

Preconception care – Pregnancy and post-natal nutrition

For all the conditions above a medical check up should have been done for the diagnoses of each condition.

The Nutritional therapist looks at the optimum nutrition which encompasses individual prescriptions for diet and lifestyle in order to alleviate or prevent ailments and to promote optimal gene expression through all life stages. Recommendations may include guidance on natural detoxification, procedures to promote colon health, methods to support digestion and absorption, the avoidance of toxins or allergens and the appropriate use of supplementary nutrients, including phytonutrients. Nutritional therapists advise on each person’s unique dietary and nutritional needs for metabolic and hormonal homeostasis, using a variety of biochemical and functional tests to inform recommended protocols and programmes.

Nutrition in pregnancy main points of importance:

511-having-a-bayby-cartoon1

The baby needs minerals, vitamins, essential fats, some fats, proteins and carbohydrates to develop in the womb as well as grown in the last stages. The first 12 weeks are quite important as well as the hearts, the brain and all the basis of the baby is formed, the rest of the 6 months are about growth and make that beautiful planned baby into a more define body (the first 12 weeks is making the baby imprint, the rest of the months is about defining all the details).

The mother needs to supply the baby with all these nutrients as well as getting rid of the toxins formed in the baby especially in the last few months of the pregnancy. The mother needs to be in her optimum nutritional status for the baby and her own health. The mother body will give all the nutrients that the baby needs even if she is low, leaving the mother with deficiency of many nutrients if she is not eating properly and with as much nutrient efficient as she needs to be. Iron needs to be at its optimum state by the 3rd month in the mother so that she or the baby will not be low in the last stage, iron is one of the things that the milk, even breast milk will be low if the mother is low on that and the baby will not have much till he/she starts other foods. It will take a long time for the mother and baby to get to the normal iron state.

Other nutrients that are needs are essential fats (omega 3 and 6) for the developing of the brain and nerves function in the baby. The mother again needs to have a good supply for her to be able to retain some of her own essential fats and make sure that the baby has got plenty when in her womb and after as well. These are only two nutrients that essential for the baby and the mothers, the list is greater than these, and the mother nutrition during pregnancy is very important to supply them to the baby and herself in order to feel great after the birth and ready to function well. ….Atopic parents (prone to allergies or have allergies) can also affect the baby when born or when breastfed. A varied  diet or even eliminating the food that the mother knows that herself or the father is reacting to, also helps the baby to have a reduced reaction to these foods.

Healing babies and mothers birth trauma and illness through Craniosacral therapy

My experience of Cranio-sacral therapy and my clients experience of what it does:

This image has an empty alt attribute; its file name is baby-L-treat-2-weeks-1-cropped-1024x948.jpg
(c) craniosacral baby treatment

Any face-to-face appointment till further notice will be under the current guidelines, and a Waiver/disclaimer is mandatory to be signed before the appointment click here to read more. Click here to read the guidelines for your and my safety of working.

It is called cranio-sacral because the of the spinal fluid going from the cranium to the sacrum is what makes everything function well and properly. All the nerves and nerve transmission from the brain to the body and from the body to the brain go through there and it is all connected like a tree with branches and roots. What the cranio-sacral therapist does is listening to the rhythm of that fluid and feel if there is any blockage in the body, memory cells of the tissue and the mind as well as the energetic field around that body to see if it is breathing well and properly. If there is a blockage just our training and knowledge as therapists will help the mother, baby and child unblock the blockage and re-balance the system or body function.

With CST, what we do, is free that blockage and stabilize the rod in the centre of the body again, so that your life is back to normal, with possible few changes. Life does throw challenges at us all the time, and it is a normal way of living, it is the you deal with them and how fast you get back to the centre, that is important. So, what CST teaches you is to get back to normality quicker and stronger.

(c) Maria Esposito BSc (Hons) Craniosacral baby session

For parents it looks like we are not doing anything and sometimes for the first session nothing changes much, it depends on how deep that trauma or wound is and how the parents as well are dealing with that. It might take two to three sessions to see the difference. I usually suggest at least the mother to have a session so that they can feel how changes occur within their body and around them as well as the baby.

I found that CST has also a strong spiritual healing power as well. It depends on the therapist and if they have themselves experience their own spiritual healing (this is nothing to do with religion, it is something to do with your inner soul and own spirituality in the way you see it).

Memory cells – my experience with Cranio-sacral therapy was amazing. My labor and my son birth were very traumatic. My son kept having colds and coughs from the time I stopped breastfeeding at 14 months. As I did not want to give antibiotics all the time I sought for  other ways of dealing with that. Homeopathy vitamin C and nutrition helped to get rid of the colds or reduce them when he had them but he still kept having more colds and coughs that he should have had. So, I took him to cranio-sacral and it took a while (about 1 year to fully be better) as I took him to the Student clinic but they got rid of his traumatic birth and finally his colds and coughs were reduced to once a year and now not even once a year.

He can now fight the colds very easily and usually gets over anything much easier than any other child that I know.

My own experience with CS was that even after 7 years since the labour my body memory cells still retained that trauma.I had epidural so I did not feel mentally any pain, but my body did. And all that pain and trauma was still pretty stored in my tissues. Finally I got rid of it with CST and it is amazing the difference it made even to my personal life physically and emotionally.

Some of the children and babies that I treated with CST had some traumatic birth or even not and what some of the issues that reduced were:

This image has an empty alt attribute; its file name is 2nd-of-june-2019-6-cropped-768x1024.jpg
(c) craniosacral treatments for babies
  • Colic’s which are very frequent in babies
  • Breastfeeding problems
  • Frequency of throwing up the milk
  • Sleeping better and more peacefully
  • Stronger connection with mother and babies (the mother needs to be treated as well as the baby for both reflux and connection with the baby). Sometimes it takes more than 3 sessions before things starts to change.
  • Clinging babies or toddlers
  • Other problems that have been helped with my treatment of CS are:
  • Teething
  • Coughing
  • Frequent colds for the babies,
  • Toddlers and children
  • Reduction of allergies
  • Reduced irritation, which have led to a happier and more communicative toddler.
  • Reduction and or elimination of night terror in toddlers and children in general.

CST baby treatment

Starting life with a great balance system is one of the huge benefits that the baby will have in coping any of the issue that life brings. Babies treated with CST have a more positive and happier attitude in life and feel more confident of their journey.

Babies and children can feel the overwhelming emotions of the last pandemic.

Research have shown for the past years that babies can feel the emotional stress around them. Even in the womb. The past year has been tough for everyone, that includes babies and small children. Babies are very much attached to the mother or carer emotional status. Now, this is inevitable and as we are all humans, including mothers, there is nothing you can do to avoid having emotions, the so-called challenging ones like, sadness, anger, pain and low emotions even, that could be also due to the after-pregnancy hormonal down fall, plus what is going around as well. Last year, was a global raise in fear, sadness, shock and high and low, due to uncertainty of the future. Mothers, like everybody else felt the stress from it all, especially going to hospital where there was a high risk of getting the virus, or any virus.

What you can do as a mother is to go out in the open, where is quieter as much as possible. Connect to nature. Call friends or other mothers that you might have met or even talk to other mothers from a distance even and still in the open. Share your fears and worries with your partners or loved ones. Watch a child movie or cartoons, or a funny movie to lift your spirit up!

Sleep when you can, if the baby wakes you up at night, which is normal for the first few months.

Listen to relaxing music when you breastfeed or at any time you feed your baby, so you can both relax.

If you can, both you and the baby, or child can have a craniosacral therapy, which relaxes the baby and mother in one session.

Craniosacral therapy also settles the baby after a C-section or traumatic events, like the pandemic last year, this can be for the mother as well, especially if there are still lots of fears and worries for the future.

baby in hand

If the baby has got colic, constipation, reflux and sleep little compared to other babies, craniosacral therapy in about two to three session can settle the baby and mother into a more balance state. Usually that state of balance set the baby up for life in a happier way of being, as things shifts into a different mode altogether with the baby sleeping more, smiling more than crying (even though crying is part of babies’ communication, so be patient with that), and the mother having more sleep and smiling back at their baby!

With toddlers having gone through a complete different social way of being last year, also a session or two might help them to move on and forward to get more social with other kids without the fear that an invisible thing can cause the death of grandparents and other people!

The free help for adults who can do some breathing meditation or just breathing evening and morning if they can, might reach a different state of mind and cope with what is going on around the world right now with less fear of the what future holds! Remember as humans we have been through this before, in-fact the elderly have gone through this before and maybe they can share their way of seeing things now!

Folic acid summarized facts

Folic acid intake is often connected to pregnancy and women, very few people know about the importance of folic acid for the health of the physical body, which include male and female health. I have summarized some of the key points below, including what you need to eat in order to get an adequate intake and absorption of folate.

Key points of folate and why is so essential to have it in our diet:

Folic acid intake is often connected to pregnancy and women, very few people know about the importance of folic acid for the health of the physical body, which include male and female health. I have summarized some of the key points below, including what you need to eat in order to get an adequate intake and absorption of folate.

Key point of folate and why is so essential to have it in our diet:

  • Mushrooms, green vegetables such as spinach, brussels sprouts, broccoli, asparagus, turnip greens, swiss chard, kale and beet green. Brewer’s yeast contains the highest source in food, followed by black-eyed peas, rice germ, soy flour, wheat germ, beef liver, soy beans, and other beans. Fruits contain the least of them all.
  • Raw food is higher in folate, and cooking the food will reduce the folate content by 50 to 95%. There are now many cereal and foods that are fortified with folate or folic acid.
  • Absorption of folate also depends on other nutrients, such as zinc. Zinc deficiency could reduce the absorption of folate into the blood stream. One more essential key fact to be able to absorb folate properly is the health of the intestinal tract, where the folate binding protein is made so that folate can be transported into the body. Folate needs to be converted into the body to become folic acid and other compound for its multi-function use.  Among some of its functions, there is amino acid metabolism (making proteins from amino acid), and red blood cell formation.
  • Folic acid is essential for cells division, hence essential nutrient to have if you are planning for a baby.
  • It is part of reducing homocysteine level, together with B12 and B6, hence connection with prevention of heart disease,
  • Prevention of megaloblastic macrocytic anaemia. Folic acid is essential for the formation of the red blood cells.
  • Folic acid has been also connected to the health of the brain at any age, for men and women. Hence recommended intake at any age and gender!

It is recommended an intake of 400 to 550 microgram of folic acid per day to prevent any of the disorders that a deficiency would cause, as well as if you are planning to have a baby and during pregnancy. Vitamin C intake protect the loss and damage of folate.

WATER: The real gold of life!

Water is the most important treasure on earth, without drinking water you could die in about three days. If you are one of the many people that do not drink enough water, either you are a sedentary person or a sport person, here are some reasons for you to start drinking more of this precious liquid.

Why should we drink a minimum of 8 glasses of water per day?

Normally, approximately 2.5 litre of water is required each day for a fairly sedentary adult in a normal environment to replace the total loss of water that occurs though urine, faeces, skin and lungs (Naghii).

To replace the water loss about 1 to 1.2 litre needs to be in drinks, (manly water or cold herbal teas), 0.9 ml is taken through food and 0.3ml will be made by the body (oxidative metabolism) (William A. et al).

Effect of water restriction-

What happens if you don’t drink enough?

The following are a series of changes in a case of water restriction:

1-      Increase in pulse rate and in rectal temperature.

2-      Increase in respiration.

3-      Tingling and numbness of fingers and feet.

4-      Increase in concentration of blood

5-      Diminution of blood volume and more difficult circulation.

The difficulty and inadequacy of the circulation of blood under these conditions leads to difficult breathing, to gastro-intestinal upsets accompanied by nausea and appetite failure and eventually to difficulty in muscular movements and emotional instability. (Lloyd).

In an animal study, where water was restricted the animal were highly irritable and in some cases bad tempered (Lloyd).

Thirst

It has been shown that under intense activity a man will voluntarily drink only about half as much water as what is needed to replace his losses from sweating and urine. Only after food and rest does a person crave the water needed to replace the deficit. (Llyod)

Herbal teas

Ingestion of hot drinks may cause internal body temperature to rise, which will result in sweating in order to cool the body down. Hot drinks are sometimes used in medical practice when it is desired either to temporarily increase body temperature or induce sweating (Llyod). Therefore cold or cool drinks are preferred to hot drinks to replace fluid during the day, especially if the hot drinks are the only fluid daily intake.

In high intensity exercise and in competitive sports

In a sport or activity with duration of at least 30 minutes of continuous exercise, there is a risk of impaired performance and even health damage due to hypo hydration (low of water). Sweating is usually the form accounting for most water loss during exercise or high environmental temperatures. The major danger of low fluid intake during a high performance is dehydration. This fluid deficit can rapidly reach level that impede heat dissipation, reduce heat tolerance and severely compromise cardiovascular function and exercise capacity. Prolonged dehydration will lead to cell death and multiple cell losses can lead to the person’s death (Naghii).

The need for replacement of water will depend on the extent of the losses incurred during exercise. Ingestion of plain water for a short duration (less than 90 minutes) is enough to replace the water lost.

In high intensity activity and competition in ingestion of plain water in the post-exercise period results in a rapid fall in the plasma sodium concentration and in plasma osmolality (Maughan). The changes have the effect of reducing the stimulus to drink (thirst) and of increasing urine output, both of which will delay rehydration. Rehydration after the high activity can only be achieved if the sodium lost in seat is replaced a swell as the water (Maughan). There is no need to take any extra sodium tablets, unless dehydration is so severe, for most individuals the normal dietary intake of minerals is adequate to maintain sodium and electrolyte balance during repeated days of training (Wiliam A).it is sufficient to eat a salty food or food high in natural salt.

Sports drinks typically provide quantities of sodium, chloride and potassium (electrolytes), which can be drunk if in high activity or in competing in a hot environment.

Sugary drinks

During physical activities lasting less than 90 minutes, water is generally the beverage of choice, however, the inclusion of small concentrations of carbohydrate (6%-8% carbohydrate) have been shown to better sustain power output over water alone during physical activities that produce fatigue in 60 minutes or longer (William A.).

Long COVID symptoms what can you do?

After catching the virus December 2020 and feeling exhausted for 10 days after the virus, I understand what people are talking about when they say, they are still tired after they caught the virus or they have still some symptoms. Now as a nutritional therapist and a craniosacral therapist, the first thing I did is buying a really good multivitamin, Solgar V2000 was ready available and I used that for a month after my virus. At the beginning, I crashed it as that was easy for me to do and then took it whole. Always take a multivitamin with your breakfast. At the same time I had, extra vitamin C, a tip of a teaspoon (as it was biocare powder vitamin C/ and higher Nature powder vitamin C), 3 times a day. I drank plenty of water during the day, to replenish my loss of water and electrolytes during the illness. I took also Solgar multi-billion dophilus (they are dairy free), as my COVID affected my digestive system, including the taste buds. This to make sure to repopulate my intestine with friendly bacteria, this for 2 months after. I also took glutamine from higher nature, at empty stomach in the morning to help repair my intestinal tract. After 10 days of my virus I felt 80 per cent better. I also had a distance healing, similar to craniosacral therapy from another therapist, to check my midline and to ground me within my body. I felt off centered for some reason, and I could not re-center myself back. I was off center. The one thing that I noticed as a craniosacral therapist during my illness and after, when I felt tired, was that there was not energy going through my midline. I felt that was possibility I felt so tired. Nothing was moving, or very little.

My suggestion for anyone that has still long COVID and at the age that they are still working, or even retired and there is no obvious physical damage from the virus, to start taking the supplements above and have at least three sessions of craniosacral therapy or distance healing.

Beetroot nutritional facts and benefits

Did you know that beetroots or beet (beta vulgaris) are in the same family of chard and spinach?

Roots and leaves can be eaten, even though most people do not eat the leaves much and concentrate on their roots only. This root was first cultivated and spread around by ancient Romans.

Did you know that beetroot can also be converted into sugar? Napoleon started to convert it into sugar at his time and today many Countries still converts it into sugar.

The beet green part is rich of calcium, iron, vitamin A, C and high in folic acid, so if you are planning to get pregnant or even if you are not, eat the green of the beet to get the folic acid. They are a good source of fiber, manganese and potassium. The roots are a good source of phosphorus, iron, and vitamin B6. The cooked beet root is higher in sugar, about 100 gr of beet cooked contain about 8 g of sugar. So, if you have diabetes or blood sugar level problems, watch that you do not eat a lot of beet roots.

Beetroots are high in betacyanin, which gives his purple red colour. This nutrient is a powerful cancer fighting agent.

As it is high in fiber, is good to lower cholesterol.

Studies in animal have shown that beetroots can increase the natural antioxidant in our body such as glutathione-S-transferase.

When choosing your beetroot, make sure that it is firm and looks fairly fresh.

Enjoy them by grating them with carrots in a salad, you can do some time of smoothie with water and drink it.

You can also do what my mum used to do when I was a child and I had a constant cough. As at that time there was no NHS, my mum used all the natural remedies from food and herbs to get us children well. No penicillin was used till we were about 14 of age.

I constantly had a cough, which I now know was a combination of being low in iron and energetically I could not express myself well, as at that time, like everywhere in the world, the children were to be seen but not heard!

My mum used beetroot, cut them in half, added some actual cane sugar in it, so it would be sweet, and put it outside the window at night. In the morning, there would be this natural syrup that she would give me. And that usually would calm down my cough for a while. That was due to all the goodness that beetroot had in it.

So grateful that we have changed that belief! At least in the modern society!

However you would like to use the beetroot, enjoy it!

Healthy body, mind and soul

The past year has been tough for most people, and rebalancing our health is essential for us to get back to a normal way of living, even though there might be few years before that might actually happen.

If you observe the wild life, even in time of trauma and disasters, they keep going. They have that inner instinct that will allow them to carry on, no matter what. They do that like nothing happened. They have also a natural way of being happy by carrying on their lives as they know it.

As humans is a bit more difficult, as we analyse everything and we might keep more of the negative experience of it, instead of the positive learning from what happened. Obviously for the loss of people there are many ways of dealing with that and it is more of addressing that. For the most people, who have struggled to cope with living a different life, in the past year, and mostly being very selective with whom we meet and even being self-isolating for fear or for self guarding.

Small children have struggled and they are still struggling with the self-isolation and little socialization with other children. The children who have sibling, were better as they play with each other, the single child unit of family, have been struggling a bit more. It is essential that for the single one or the small children who have struggled during the past year that have some sort of help to rebalance and get rid of the fear that they have been put on, or maybe the computer games and online games that they might have played more than usual. Especially for the very sensitive children, playing so much online or off line, might set a lifetime of self isolation when in they have problems, rather than facing them. This is also with teenagers and young adults, who have lost the communication with their parents or never had that communication in the first place.

Even for adults, who struggle to cope with emotions and feelings might have struggled to deal with the past year pandemic.

The good things is that there are lots of therapies and help out there for anybody at the present moment. There free ones and paid ones. So for anyone who is still working, it is worth to have a therapy online or face to face that helps them deal with the global trauma of the past year, as an adult or for their children or even babies.

For the others there are so many free tools online that you do not have any excuse for not using them.

My therapies, from Nutritional advice to emotional and mental advice and healing with distance healing, craniosacral therapy healing, NLP tools for the positive outcomes in life and self empowering tools and more, are available and affordable. Look of the rest of the website to know more.

Most of all, smiling, laughing, being gentle and kind with yourself and others are all free things that can raise your frequency. So is grounding by walking or running, or doing any exercise in the park, breathing from your diaphragm, relaxing and meditating, talking to nice people on your walk if appropriate and having hope and trust for the future, talking to a friend if possible about your concerns or just having a chat with them, might brighten your day. Observing nature while you walk is also a great way to raise your frequency!

Grounding is the key to living your life as yourself!

I have been passionate about grounding technique for the past 10 years. Since I started my craniosacral therapy course and the healing workshops and therapy since then. I am a very logical person, and science has been the priority with me and my therapies for more than 20 years. Till I started my NAET course for reducing and eliminate over reactions to food and environmental allergens. That was about 14 years ago. Then since my craniosacral training and thanks to it that I discovered that when I was faced with a big challenge and any changes in my life, I would unground quite a lot. When I was ungrounded, all went terrible wrong in my life. It is like all my fears and worries would be happening in my life. Since I learned how to ground and heal my childhood trauma that unconsciously I still had, my life is much better. Even now with all that is going on, I am at peace and calm. I am also aware of life is more than what meets our eyes really. Hence my three books “Beyond Science I, II and III, by Ariami Marpisa, that you can find on amazon, with details of what is out there for us that can help us in our lives. We are still the ones that make any choices, and according to our choice, there is always a beautiful Light that would help us. That includes our soul.

Grounding and healing our past or childhood, and learning to deal with emotions and feelings are the key to your success in life. What ever that might be. I have been teaching therapists and my client the awareness of grounding and what to do to ground, so that their lives would be how they really wanted and needed to be.

Now I have known about earthing maths for many years, I just never thought of using them for myself, till this year. I got the flu that is causing a lot of problems around and to my surprise the symptoms were not as bad, but the vitality, that flow of energy that we all have in our midline, was gone. It felt like my body shut down, and seemingly my connection with my soul and the Universe, even though knowing what I know I knew I had a lot of healing and protection. My grounding though was shaky, and I did not have enough energy to put my grounding into practice, mainly as I could not walk in nature much. It took me about 2 weeks to recover after the virus was gone. I took all the supplements necessary to get my energy power back, and all the meditation and healing knowledge that I have to get better. Still, I felt, in particular for me, I wanted something that would ground me a bit more at night and daytime without so much effort when I am in my weakest point. My healer was unavailable for a long time. So, I decided to buy the grounding math, to earth myself a bit more and the results are pretty good. Hence my decision to endorse them, as for many people, it would make a difference between living the life that they want to live, while they are seeing a therapist, and heal their childhood possible trauma or beliefs, and being miserable all the way, getting busy so that there is no way of that they deal with their emotions and feelings.

We have been put in a state of looking at our lives in the past year, and what is important for us. It is hard at the beginning, as you will see from my books, to deal and let go of old patterns. The reward when you do though is amazing and your life around you will make a huge difference.

How do you know you are ungrounded?

Everything around you are very chaotic, nothing you do works.

You lose things without you knowing that they are close to you or even in your hand.

You lock yourself out of the house

You get into an argument with your friends and stranger as you think they are doing something wrong.

You feel that everybody is against you

You feel exhausted in the morning after many hours of sleep. You feel like you worked all night.

You feel that you keep working and working, and going nowhere.

How do you know that you are grounded?

Life itself feels much better;

You feel that you are listened to and people pay attention to what you are saying and notice you!

You feel rested and energized after a good night sleep. You sleep less than you used to.

You get some many ideas of what to do in life. You get excited about life itself. You want to plan your vacation and know that you deserve it.

You feel focused and present in your life!

Here is the link to the earthing mat and more products; even the smallest and cheapest one can make a difference and you can get extra if it works.

In our modern life and with wearing shoes, if you live in towns, it is quite impossible to ground and connect to nature. Our human body is not used to it, hence, quite often we get ill, or unhappy, as we just stop living our lives. Usually, our unconscious takes over with mirroring in our lives what you need internally to heal and deal with. If once you get grounded, you encounter angry people, or sad people, or very fearful and scared people, it is time for you to address these feelings too, as you are the one that is attracting them.

Groundology - Grounding Technology

In my practice with craniosacral therapy, nutritional advice, and NLP, combined with the healing tools that I learned in the past 10 years, I do support people with their healing!

Grounding to earth

I also work with babies and mothers, to get them in a positive path for the gift of their lifetime. Remember that the brain of the baby will develop according to their parents and life. Their brain will either shape into a positive thinking path, or a negative, drama one. Babies brain and the billions of neurons and memories develop from birth to 6 years old. So, spend a lot of time with them and if you work, spend the most quality time with them, showing that unconditional love, no matter what they do, and their lives will be a happy one!

Gut and brain connection to health

Our Brain relies on our gut health to be well

Being healthy, it is considering our gut health and our mental and emotional health, as well as connecting to our own soul. In my clinic, I combine the gut and brain health, and mental and emotional health. Working on conditioned way of thinking from childhood with old beliefs and old trauma that we carry on from generation to generation. Guess what, you do not need to carry it on all the time, you can clear it, transform them into a positive way and be yourself. All of this start from your gut health. Did you know that the gut is an outsider for the body, so what you eat, what you let in the body, is essential to your internal health, that includes your brain’s health. I have dealt with IBS and allergy related condition with the method called NAET, to rebalance your intestinal tract, get re-balance your own body to recognize the healthy food as healthy, and getting your brain to think more positive about who you are and what you want to do in life. All this is a combination of 30 years of being a therapist and seeing so many people getting into a state of gut and brain health, and becoming themselves through craniosacral therapy and NLP.

Just a bit of scientific part of why the gut is connecting to our brain:

20 to 25% of oxygen is used by our brain, and hence any food that we eat is essential for our brain. Our body has got a power making cells called mitochondria which makes energy for our entire body and brain. 20% of the energy that the mitochondria make is used by the brain, and the brain use the aerobic energy. The more we use our brain, e.g., through studying or working using our mind, the more energy we need to make to keep our brain healthy. Neurons in our brain, use about 1 million mitochondria to make the energy necessary for the axon and neurological brain and body neurons to be healthy. The brain needs protein, fat and carbohydrate, as well as all the nutrients and minerals to get things working well. It takes a lot of good nutrition in order to keep everything working well. It is essential that our diet is full of nutrients and good protein, fat and carbohydrate to get our body and our brain happy.

Our mind does need a bit of stress to get our brain healthy, believe it or not. Too much stress though, will destroy our brain. So, a healthy stress is good for our brain. Walking, running and exercise is a healthy stress for the body, so that our mitochondria will make good powerful energy.

Any inflammation in the brain or in the body, due to poor eating habits, eating lots of sugar or bad fat through take away or poor nutritional food, then your body and brain will struggle to get healthy and positive as well, as even slow grade inflammation will use a lot of the power fuel that the mitochondria make to keep the inflammation low. Also inflammation will use a lot of anti-oxidants that hopefully you eat.

Reducing and preventing brain and body inflammation, is essential to our own healthy brain, and that is also essential for our positive thinking to kick in.

What kind of nutrients the body needs to be healthy? Well food that comes from the earth, good fat, good protein and good carbohydrate, as well as food full of nutrients such as green and varied vegetables, varied and seasonal fruits, and a healthy positive mind, by doing exercise that is right for you, something that you enjoy. It can be just walking in nature, as long as you can, from a minimum of 2 hours a day spread throughout the day.

Very good anti-oxidants that contain polyphenols, which are good for the brain are foods such as red grapes, pomegranates, blueberries, turmeric, apples, cranberries, and any of the healthy fruits and vegetables.

Sugar as I mentioned before, is the enemy for our brain and body. Sunlight is essential for our own energy, like the leaves of the tree that absorb chlorophyll through the sunlight, our own cells needs that sunlight in order to get the power from the sunlight into our body. Hence vitamin D is essential to be taken during winter time in England from November till April, as the Light is not strong enough to get us the vitamin D. The darker the skin the less vitamin D you make in England.

In order to give your child, the healthy start, it is essential that they have all the healthy food as possible, so that they do not get addicted to sugar and sugary foods or even salty foods. Just remember any food that comes from the earth, is a healthy food.

Exercise is essential to get our brain working well, and we need much more than 1 hour a day, especially if you sit down at the computer to work. Take many breaks to get you grounded and connected to earth.

The digestive system needs to be in good order for the brain to be healthy, there are many research and studies connecting our brain to the gut and vice-versa.

Make sure that your stools are regular and healthy, not too lose or too hard, just healthy. Pellets stools means your intestinal tract is dry and you might eat some food that is unhealthy for you, even if it is healthy.

The Mediterranean diet, all the berries, pomegranate, oily fish, healthy number of probiotics to keep our gut healthy. Rutin is an antioxidant for the brain, lipoic acid and vitamin E as well.

Even a bit of caffeine seems to help with our repair and activate of the brain, and induce positive effect on the brain. (1 a day caffeine, or green tea).

The vagal nerve, which deals with the digestive system is essential for the health of our gut and brain health. This is also essential for our emotions to be healthy, the Vagal nerve is involved in dealing with emotions. If we are on a fast pace life with no pleasure or no good diet, and be on a constant sympathetic division, then the vagal nerve, which is involved in relaxation and the healthy of the body and mind, will be shut down.

The vagal nerve is engaged also in reducing inflammation and in rep-airing what needs to be repaired. This happens during our sleep at night, during our good deep sleep, without it, there is no repair, and our brain is in constant use of energy. This after years will exhaust the person and lead to possible di-sease of the mind and body. If taken in time, it can be reversed, if not then it will be hard to get to a health status.

Start breathing!

Breathing is essential for the vagal nerve and breathing with our diaphragm, is essential for the health of the vagal nerve and our intestinal digestive system.

Other way of getting your vagal nerve in action is free and easy to get if you want to, being outside in nature, laughter, cold exposure, yoga and meditation, play and be relaxed is essential for our brain health and body health. Being social and spent time with people we love is also essential to our brain health. This has been something that the past year we had to stop doing, and it is essential that eventually we all going to socialize soon, when is safe to do so for everybody, to get our brain healthy again. Even if it is through computer and phone now, it is better than nothing. Use your social media for good intention and for positive reasons. Again just smile at people when you go for a walk, just connect nicely, say hi! b

Prevention is always better than cure, so getting your diet sorted now that you are young, or not so young, is essential for your brain health at any age, but especially to keep your brain healthy till the end of your days. Plenty of good fats such as found in fish, nuts and avocadoes, are beneficial for our brain to stay healthy.

Folate is essential for our brain health, not only for women in pregnancy, but in all adults, and folate is found in green leafy vegetables, so include them in your diet, if you have not yet.

My IBS book sold on amazon click here to buy it, connection with your gut and brain, what it is and what you can do, in simple ways.

Nutritional advice for mild to moderate COVID-19 symptoms

I managed to get a year without catching the virus, and I suppose if you do have children is inevitable that you get it at some point. I truth I wished to catch it over Christmas so that was at a quite time, so just watch what you wish for, you might just get it!

I got it for Christmas day, my son had a blocked nose and one of his friend’s sister got positive to the virus but not his friend, and my son was negative when he did the test. Maybe he did that too early. He had such mild symptoms. I got the typical flu like symptoms fever and bone pain. Then I tried to drink my usual Italian coffee in the morning and the taste was so disgusting that I gave it up. I was quite ill for a week and at the 6th day I though or great, getting better, but my stomach was pretty bad and with my taste being awful, whatever I had was bad and could not eat much. When I looked in the mirror on the 7th day, I looked black and white, and feeling my body, my energy force was gone, I could not feel any flow of energy going through my body. I was trying to do some craniosacral therapy on myself to get things going, but if felt that like an off switch that could not be turned on. I was so worried that I called the 111 to see if that was normal after 7 days. Well, I must have got a normal person on the phone and not much help, apparently, I had to push 9 and then 2, and then 2 again before I could get a nurse or doctor, I suppose for a sick person, or elderly person, that would be a disaster, not quite sure what that was about.

Seeing that the doctor would not have done anything anyway unless I was dying, which I felt I was, but not in their way I suppose, I decided to think as a therapist for myself and thought of what I could do to get that spark back into my body, that flow of energy back, or my body would be in deep trouble soon. I felt that a hot water bottle on my chest my help to ignite something. The warmth of the bottle helped. At night my body went into a trembling shock, and then it calmed down and the vitality came back again, I could start feeling the low of energy slowly coming back. I was still quite weak for another couple of days and I could only eat few things, for some reason I could not eat raw vegetables, but I managed to eat the fruits. I felt I just wanted soup and potatoes, and I forced myself to have some protein. Eggs and meat and fish, I could not digest the lentils, as for my digestive system was too much.

My suggestion for anyone going through mild or moderate symptoms to help get through and what I did:

  • Take a tip of a teaspoon of vitamin C every two hours (from Biocare or Higher Nature powder form), this till all the symptoms go down, then take vitamin C, with meals only
  • Take zinc citrate one a day with food or without (Biocare does a zinc citrate that melts well)
  • Kaly bich, homeopathic remedy, to reduce the mucus,
  • Steam with sea salt or Hymalaya salt with olbas oil to steam up your lungs (I had little cough, but the mucus was quite thick and could be hard to let go, so steam helps).
  • Probiotics form Solgar (advanced multibillion dophilus), this if you get the stomach one, as you need to balance up your intestinal tract.
  • As I have Gilbert’s syndrome, which one of the liver pathway detox slowly, I took glutathione to help and L glutamine to help repair the intestinal tract.
  • Foodwise, lot of vegetables hot soup, you could add ginger to help, you might not taste it, but is ok.
  • Fruits the seasonal ones, I could only eat more pears, rather than other fruits, but you might have other taste for it.
  • You can you chicken soups or vegetable lentils soups, make sure that you mash them or chew them well. Do not add any chilli powder
  • Eat more of gluten free food such as rice, potatoes, sweet potatoes and less cheese and dairy. This gives your digestive system a bit of rest and the body to deal with the virus. I had organic yogurt only.
  • Remember to breathe consciously every now and then, to check that your breathing is good.
  • I also did a lot of spiritual meditation, and with all my awareness I did ask for the healing energy to be within me, this is also something that I do for my client, and this time I was asking for myself healing as well. At night, I felt my entire body adjusting, like in key and lock place, reassembling all my bodies together. This is when I new I was getting better and stronger. It took me few more days to recover and get stronger, even before I could go out and walk a bit, reconnect to nature and earth. It felt I have been on a journey, hopefully stronger and wiser!

Now more than ever people need to be healthy in body, mind and soul. In order to do this, is not just changing your diet, but is changing your mindset. Some of the old habits have been conditioned in us since we were children, now it is time for you to know who you really are and what you want in life!
That can be combined with nutrition, positive mind set and knowing what you want!

This can be done via NLP, craniosacral therapy/healing and nutrition all at once, this year is the time of true changing!

Best Wishes for your chosen path

When I started about 29 years ago in my journey as a therapist, I did know where I was going! All the courses that I did, came to me easily, without much effort. I studied and become and Sport Massage therapist first. Then my Nutritional Degree course was planned by the Universal forces in some way, I got in and I still do not remember how I got to know where interviews for the complementary therapy at University of Westminster were held. Somebody told me. I was going to do the physical complementary course, and instead the Nutritional Therapy course started instead and I got on that course. I loved it, as I grew up in an Italian countryside, the thought of suggesting people to eat healthy so that they would get better would exit me and bring pride as well. After about few years I was encountering a lot of people with allergies and even though avoiding them was the only solution at that time, I was thinking there must be another way. I did a homeopathic course then, and even though it was a great help, I felt it was not enough. Then a client of mine mentioned NAET method to reduce or even eliminate some of the body system over reaction. I looked into it and I thought, that is great, I want to do this. I used NAET method on many people, including babies and children, for the overreaction to food and hay fever and the results were amazing, according to my client’s response and feedback. That was more than 14 years ago. After a while and after I was going through a personal change in my life, I stumbled across craniosacral therapy, who I took my son for about 3 to 4 years to get rid of his traumatic birth and the fact that he constantly had a cold that would end up in a lung infection. Even with the homeopathic remedies and the nutritional vitamin C, which helped a lot, I thought there must be something else that I can do, hence craniosacral therapy came up for him. After about 5 years of thinking I would like to learn this, I decided to go for it. It was an amazing experience, with the ups and downs of it, especially when you start healing yourself, all the emotions and trauma came up. At the exact same time I was put on the healing path. The craniosacral therapy and the healing path came hand in hand, and with that I could not separate the two. Usually for CST therapist it comes after years of practicing or they already have the healing experience or courses that they have done. With me was together. That was and is one of my most transformative time of all my life! I then decided to take a Ptlls for teaching what I knew and I am teaching now what I know to whoever wants to listen. After 5 years of working and combining nutrition, craniosacral/healing and NAET method for over reactions, I stumble upon the Neurolinguistic programming course. Again, this was something that I knew nothing about, till I decided to do a course online about 6 years ago now, and I got excited about it as well. As life was challenging a bit, due to my own transformation, healing and ancestors healing as well, it took me a while to decide to do the face-to-face NLP course. Even though I had been using the positive way of thinking for the past 6 years. This year, in December 2019, before all this happened, I decided to do the course with Toby & Kate company. I loved their energy and hence decided to go for it. I managed to do the face to face one just before the 1st lock down in March 2020. That was again another transformation at the neurological level and deep unconscious level. I now combine in my practice all of my skills. Also, during the lockdown, I decided to have a certificate for the healing part of my sessions, which I use with everything that I do. This with Kyle Gray, so I am now also a Certified Angel Guide, which I am anyway and I am sure I did not need the certificate, it is only for people who wants to know really. Here we are, this is my journey in who I am as a therapist almost 30 years later. Looking back, I can see how fate, got into every single way of my path. This year for some reason, it was a bit harder for a while. Now I need to trust that something is coming for me, as well as others, that will be positive, with the new era and the new changes in this life! let’s embrace the new year, as well as honour this year, even with its darkness, sadness, anger, fear, frustration and insecurity that all brought about, as this might have been things that needed to be address, so that many people who did not care before, they started to care, and many people who were asleep before, started to wake up to making choices for their greatest good, for themselves and others!

Happy Healthy Holidays seasons

Holiday seasons are near and this year there are a lot of changes and a time when we need to be aware of others more than ever. Hope that you are all well in some way or another and that you are ready for a new year of hope, moving forward with awareness that life is unpredictable and we need to do what we want to do in life, to live a fulfilling life! Whatever that might be. Most of all be yourself, connect to your inner heart, and go with the flow of life!

Nutritionally, be aware of what you can do in your power to be healthy, have moderate meat, have a bit more sustainable oily fish or fish in general, plenty of vegetables and fruits and a varied diet.

If you do drink a bit more this year for some reason, be aware of drinking water in between alcohol, so that you do not dehydrate.

  • Eat a healthy fatty meal the next morning, such as eggs, mushrooms, avocadoes and salmon, with spinach; as that will get rid of the hungover, as well as pure water.
  • During the holidays take a good walk outside in fresh air; breathe! Do not wait till the new year to do the walking or running or exercise, do them even during the holidays!
  • Relax more by doing diaphragmatic breathing during the day; breathe by using your belly instead of your upper chest. While you are breathing let go of worries and concerns; Click here to listen and download a short meditation from me.
  • This year, instead of eating till your pants unbutton naturally, or your tracksuit stretches even more, eat just a small meal at the time, and use the leftover for the next day. There are so many recipes for leftover Christmas meals on the internet right now.
  • Use the following food to support your liver and get more nutrients: red cabbage (cooked), kale (slightly cooked), carrots (cooked), squash, pomegranate, orange juices (freshly squeezed), mandarins, fresh nuts, especially walnuts and almonds (no salt), hazelnuts, beetroot (cooked or raw), artichokes. Use turmeric, rosemary, thyme, oregano, basil, and all the fresh herbs that you know, include ginger, cinnamon and more fresh herbs and spices, if you can add onions (raw and cooked), garlic (raw and cooked). All the above helps with the immune system.
  • By avoiding anything that you might be allergic too, you reduce the inflammation, which usually might lower your immune system. Stress is part of it.
  • Make sure you have a deep sleep of at least 4 to 5 hours. Use magnesium before bedtime, about 1 hour, or melatonin to support that, or relaxation tapes. Avoid any stimulants, including chocolate after 2pm in the afternoon. Avoid eating too late at night, leave a space of at least 3 hours before your bedtime.

If you are allergic to some foods, and you have not seen me yet, then give NAET a try, as it has changed the life of many adults and children alike, from babies too. Click here to read more about it.

In order to move forward in this time and age, and let go of the shock of this year and fears, one of the best ways, is through craniosacral, combined with the NLP, which is amazing to get you rid of old emotions or trauma that are holding you back or stuck. Most conditional thoughts and beliefs are learned in childhood, and through some of the tools through NLP and CST, we visit the times, without going into the actual emotion or traumatic event. You are going to learn to use your own resources as an adult that you have, to give yourself another way of dealing with the same situation that you went through as a child! This will empower you, to deal with present and future events that would have caused the same old destructive emotions in the past, and to deal with them in a more resourceful positive way. What are you thankful for this year 2020?

Double rainbow

After 10 years of being blessed with the awareness of what is out there, spiritually and physically and more, I know that the more thankful you are of what you have, the more your frequency raise up and set you on a very positive path. I know also that to raise your frequency, if appropriate for you at this time, you can have a really good laugh, either with a friend, family or children if you have any, or remember a time where you were the happier and connect to that time. You can also click on this link to do the circle of excellence, to re-connect to a time that you were most happy, with joy and peace, so that your frequency goes up.

We are still respecting and send blessing to the people who have passed on this year and the ones that have suffered as a consequence of the virus. If we are all down and depressed, then we might get stuck in this for a long time, if we can, let’s be thankful for what we have in our lives, and what the positive part of this year has brought forward:

I am thankful that I have food on my plate;

I am thankful for myself and my family to be well right now;

I am thankful that even though this has been considered a World war III, our young men have been asked to stay at home, and not killing each other on a field;

I am thankful that I am aware that there is more help, out there from the Universe (God, Source, Lights and more), that most people will ever know;

I am thankful for leaving in London, where we can still connect to nature and be outdoor, as there are so many parks and reservoir open;

Thank you and Happy Thanks Giving, even if you are not celebrating it, or bother about it, this year is good to be thankful.

Link to circle of excellence video so that you can add joy, happiness and more in your life, if appropriate. Click here to see it and raise your frequency!

We are still open for face to face

We are still open for face to face.

My awareness for the past 10 years:

  • As humans we are a combination of our soul/higher self and the physical body, where we can experience life, with the ups and down, with the full range of emotions, from anger to joy and happiness, the freedom of choice, the consequences of our own choices, whatever they may be. Emotional inappropriate FEAR is one of our biggest enemy. Something that we still carry from our ancestors and is in our DNA.
  • The full integration of the soul, with the massive universal knowledge and the conscious intelligence of our human body and brain right now, in this age and time.
  • It is the combination of both the soul and the human body, that makes us special, integrated and working for the highest good of ourselves and others. It is not just the human right, or the soul right, we do not work for one or the other, we work together as “ONE”, when we do that, than we can connect with our hearts and the hearts of our fellow human and souls, without dragging each other down or be taking advantage of one power over another. We will be connected with the infinite source and hence our life on earth will be on a level that has never been before. With our inner peace and our inner knowledge.
  • With this year, like any other years in the past, there will be an imprint of good or bad, what ever it was that you choose to do this year.
  • My awareness is that the imprint, will be passed on for some people and society, from the DNA to the next generation, where they need to deal with that and clear it.
  • We are still carrying the imprint of our grand-parents and parents from the past world wars, and this year from the universal help, they are coming down to help and ask for help to be cleared before their next life.
  • Our soul, for some will have an imprint of the good things that we have learned as human in this life, so that the next one, will be on a higher note and frequency of knowledge and awareness.
  • It will take at least few more generations to deal with the old past, and few more new presidents and prime ministers, and leaders to make the earth a better place to live and be proud of living on it. There are energy and Lights coming from all over the Universe to help us, from alternate reality world and high up, as Masters like Jesus, Mother Mary, Buddha, and all the other beautiful Golden, Silver, rainbow Lights helping, including the Wild Life animal energy, the Fairies, and many more that I am not aware of.
  • They are all helping, which is an amazing and wonderful concept to know. Humans choices will be different now, as we enter a world of justice, integrity and fairness, with an abundance of Love from the infinite source of Beings. November 6th 2020

Being grounded, integrated and anchored to the 5th dimension, will bring your to where we are all going. Dealing with the negative emotions and filling our mind with the positive ones are a way for us humans to get integrated and working together with our soul.

For the once that are ready, and the ones that are not, try to see how it feels to be grounded and to clear the toxic energy of what is going on right now.

Cellular health for a strong immune system

Cellular health

Did you know that we are made of millions of cells stuck together, and these cells health are essential for our own body health?

Inside one cells is like a house, food needs to be eaten, waste needs to be taken out and the house needs to be cleared. Only certain nutrients are allowed in, and other are repelled. If any of the toxins from the food and drink that you eat gets in by mistake, the cells might die, and a new cell is made.

Also, every single cell in our body changes completely within a year. So, in a year time, you are a completely different person. Now nutritionally if you change the way you eat that is healthy for your and your cell, that is great, you might be younger and healthier than you are now if your diet is not the greatest.

But also you need to consider the emotional health, if you deal with life in exactly the same way that you have been dealt till now, then the emotional and mental health will be the same in a year time, and if you change the way you deal with emotion and life now, in a year time, you will have that memory cell change. The change in the way you see, feel and deal with life, can be very quick, as you get more grounded, anchor positive feeling to your body and keep reinforcing these positive ways of thinking, you will see the result in your life.

It is like a mirror reflecting back at you, when you change internally how you deal, see and cope with the world. Even in time of chaos around you, uncertainty, fears and worries, you can connect to that inner strength and inner peace that is within your heart, deep within you, and you will see the future clearly, things will come to you without much effort, and you will see the future brighter than ever.

I know that it seems difficult at this time and age, but it our inner world that needs to change, and we are the only one that can do it, with help, it can be done. We can only change ourselves remember.

Positive way of dealing with life, with NLP, craniosacral therapy, grounding and healing tools click here to read more about the webinars and book your place.

Nutritional food and nutrients essential for our internal cells:

As you can see from the list below, you need to have a varied diet, in order to get all the nutrients that the cells need to function well.

  • For the cell to make fuel for the body it needs to have fat, carbohydrates and protein to make it first of all. You can get that from the good fat such as fish oil, avocadoes, olive oil, coconut oil, seeds and nuts.
  • Carbohydrates from good ones such as brown rice, brown pasta, wholemeal bread, potatoes with skin on, any vegetables also have some form of carbohydrates.
  • Proteins from meat, fish, beans and lentils and eggs.
  • Nutrients such as magnesium, vitamin B1, B2, B3, B6 and biotin (found in grains, fish, meat, beans and lentils);
  • Zinc (found in pumpkin seeds, oysters, meat, shellfish);
  • Iron (found in meat, eggs, in a form that the body absorbs it easily, in vegetable form is found in lentils, beans and spinach, you need to have some vitamin C to be easily absorbed and used in the body);
  • Lipoic acid (found in spinach, organ meats and red meat, broccoli, avocadoes, meat, Brussel sprouts, rice, carrots);
  • CoQ10 (found in organ meats, oily fish, spinach, broccoli, cauliflower, oranges and strawberries, beans and lentils, soy beans, sesame seeds and unsalted) pistachio
  • Water and you know where to find it.
  • Manganese and magnesium found in green leafy vegetables, mineral water, beans, lentils, oysters, mussels, grains.

Anti-oxidants foods and keeping up with a healthy body, mind and soul

What are they and what is their benefit

We are continuing the theme of supporting our body, mind and soul.

Anti-oxidants are another way of keeping your body healthy.

Oxidation is part of our normal body function. When the immune system is active, there is a lot more oxidation going on; when we run also there is a lot more oxidation. Usually our body deals with oxidation with the resources that it has got. This depends on how we eat and what we do in our lives. To make sure that you are doing and eating the right food, lets see in what food the anti-oxidant are and what you can do to add more into your diet. When you eat food that nourish your body, that nourish your mind and soul too. The healthier you eat, the more motivation you get in exercising or being outdoor and breathe, connect to nature and to your own soul!

I have been reminded that “we are what we eat”, here is what you can eat to fulfil your path:

I have written many articles about the healthy food, here is a reminder of them:

  • If you eat about two to three varied fruit a day, you get some anti-oxidant either through the form of vitamin C or other once. Apples, pears, oranges and lemon have all a form of antioxidants, that include pomegranates, the berries family even the frozen ones. Vitamin C is the main anti-oxidant, but also zinc and vitamin E are which are found in seeds and nuts, olive oil and greens, this include also avocados.
  • Resveratrol a powerful anti-oxidant and phytoestrogen is found in grapes and wine, and you get in a glass of organic red wine, drunk with a meal, a good amount of it click here to read more
  • A reminder that water is a powerful detox if drunk in the right amount, click here to read
  • One apple a day, keep the doctor away (if you are not allergic to them) click here to read more
  • Good nutritional value of Kale, which has got a good amount of vitamin C and E, click here to read more
  • Nutritional Value of a kiwi (again if not allergic), plenty of vitamin C, click here to read more
  • Vitamin A – another powerful vitamin and anti-oxidant if beta-carotene is eaten in the orange foods such as squash, pumpkin and carrots – click here to read more

  • Omega 3 and 6, which you get from oily fish such as salmon, mackerel, sardines and chia seeds and avocado click here to read about chia seeds – and essential fats in the body, which needs vitamin E as antioxidants click here
  • Iodine, is not an anti-oxidant, even though is a good thing to have in kelp, or seaweed or sea air if you are low or depressed or stressed, especially during this time and age – click here to read more

Give your baby the gift of their lifetime through craniosacral therapy

Give your baby a gift of their lifetime, through craniosacral therapy.

Positive thinking is a state of mind, and also is a way to get you through life in a more constructive and positive way

We are going through major changes around the world, on how we see others, how we see ourselves and how we do things in general. Connection with the rest of the world humanity, nature, the wild life is so essential now, if we want to move forward in a more positive way of living.

Did you know that animal training is done only on the positive way? Dogs and wild animal that are training to do things are trained only with positive instructions. The training is only on their own terms. If they want to do what they are trained for, they get a reward, and if they do not want to do what they are trained for, they still get the reward. Most wild animal, they only train their younger in a positive way, you rarely see a wild animal parent punishing their younger with no food, if they get something wrong.

We are the only species in the animal Kingdom that would punish our younger for misbehaving or not doing what we tell them to do.

There are plenty of studies that if we get our younger from birth to adulthood a positive set of mind, with plenty of rewards when they do something, the young will see life in such a positive way, with plenty of unconditional love, that their lives, no matter what challenges they face in life, like anybody else, will be much brighter and successful!

Through craniosacral therapy, from birth, you give the opportunity of your young baby, of settling their system, with any type of birth, traumatic or normal. Through at least only two sessions, for the baby and the mother, the trauma that mother or baby has suffered will disappear and life can start with their little feet on the positive path. As a nutritional Therapist, also will be recommending dietary tips to reduce colic. There are many reason why a baby might constantly cry and be miserable during the 1st 3 months of their lives, here is what craniosacral therapy can do for the baby and mother:

  • Colic’s which are very frequent in babies
  • Frequency of throwing up the milk
  • Sleeping better and more peacefully
  • Stronger connection with mother and babies (the mother needs to be treated as well as the baby for both reflux and connection with the baby). Sometimes it takes more than 3 sessions before things starts to change.
  • Clinging babies or toddlers
  • Other problems that have been helped with my treatment of CS are:
  • Teething
  • Coughing
  • Frequent colds for the babies,
  • Toddlers and children
  • Reduction of allergies
  • Reduced irritation, which have led to a happier and more communicative toddler.
  • Reduction and or elimination of night terror in toddlers and children in general.

Strengthening your immune system – preparing for the winter- Body, mind & soul

How to you strengthen your immune system?

There are general tips for that, and for the ones that needs a bit more special attention, such as avoiding the foods that can increase the inflammation and hence reduce the immune system, needs to avoid the most common foods for them. This is by trial and error.

The health of the mind is also essential to strengthen the immune system and hence, dealing with the anger, fears and worries of everyday life, in this time and age is essential.

Health of the body, how to support it?

Eating healthy food that comes from the earth, such as mixed food:

  • Oats/rice or porridge with animal milk or vegetable milk or water. Add some honey, yogurt and seeds and nuts;
  • Eggs with mushroom, tomatoes;
  • Avocadoes on toast (gluten free or normal) with eggs or without eggs, very nutritious;
  • Lunches/dinners: beans/lentils, meat or fish with green salads, soups, stew with vegetables (if beans and lentils bloat you try to add a tip of teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda in the boiling water. This will soften the shell and is more digestible).
  • Give at least 3 hours break between one meal and another, after 3 or 4 hours, for the afternoon snacks have a fruit with the skin on or nuts.
  • If you need every 3 hours as too hungry, then have nuts and fruits. You might need to drink more water in between meals. Drink up to 2 litres of water for an average normal day, if hot outside or you exercise, you might need more.
  • The heating might be on now, so I would add some water on the heater in a bowl or under the heater, as the heat might dry the body a bit more. Especially if the heating is on at night as well.
  • Have one coffee/tea a day or max two and only in the mornings, max after lunch, as this stimulates your stress system and leads to do exactly the same as the stress mode (as described below).
  • Avoid any sugary drinks, or red bulls as that will increase inflammation and stress mode and reduce the immune system.
  • Drink water, possible mineral water to balance your minerals, volvic, Scottish and other mineral water are quite good. Or have more varied seasonal local vegetables to balance your minerals intake.
  • If you start getting ill or have fever, start taking extra supplement to reduce the damage from the immune system fighting any viruses or bacteria. For very high fever that does not go down with ibuprofen or any similar, use the following old remedies. Tap cold water compresses on the forehead, back of the neck and head, inside of the elbow, knees. Or compresses with vinegar, or hand gel with 70% alcohol. It will reduce and control the fever. The optimum fever to fight viruses is about 38 max 39, above that, it is a bit damaging for the body and brain.
  • For colds and other flus, in order to support your immune system take a tip of a teaspoon of vitamin C every two hours (vitamin C is eliminated every two hours, normal food is not enough, bats when they are ill make up to 20.000 g of vitamin C). If you get a loose bowel you can reduce the vitamin C intake. Click here to read more about vitamin C in my other blog.
  • Zinc 15 mg per adults a day for a month, to support the immune system and is an anti-oxidant, same as the vitamin C.
  • Warm vegetables or chicken soups, with red cabbage, asparagus.
  • Eat artichokes or take artichokes supplements after a week to help your digestive system. Milk thistle to support your liver.
  • To support your intestinal tract, which supports the immune system in turns, take a really good probiotics in supplements such as Advanced multi-billion dophilus from Solgar (dairy free), Biocare, viridian or any really goods ones. Bionutri herbs tea and eco-balance. For a month, it needs to have a really good amount of mixed friendly bacteria to help.
  • Spray Vogel has got a sage and echinacea throat spray that helped me every time I had a sore throat, with colloidal silver spray.
  • Freshly squeezed lemon and salt gurgle helps, this will sting a bit. Fresh lemon juices and lemon and honey with a bit of hot water helps.
  • Hot water, freshly squeezes lemon and freshly grated ginger helps a lot. Put turmeric and ginger, garlic and onions (if not allergic) into the soups. Plenty of it.
  • Lavender, aromatic oil to add near the throat, hot compresses to expand the lungs to breathe, hot steams water with Olbas oil to again helps with the lungs and breathing.
  • Use cinnamon stick, xylitol in your food preparation with sweets things.
  • Grated carrots and cooked carrots;
  • Grated beetroots and cooked beetroot, to support your liver and blood.
  • Fresh herbs are anti-microbial such as rosemary, thyme, dill, oregano.
  • Walk, run, cycle, breathe, stretch, meditate, positive thinking and more.
  • Click here for webinar meditation about grounding, clearing and anchoring inner strength and more

Emotional wellbeing and soul connection with craniosacral therapy/NLP and healing

Anger, fears and worries leads to anxiety. Emotional fears lead to the stress mode cascade to be triggered and it can be on all the time. Especially if the fears lead to lack of sleep.

Lack of sleep can stop the repairing of major organs and tissues in the body, that happens during the sleep. Usually at night, for some people who work during the night, might happen during their day sleep. Sleep is essential for the body, mind and soul balance.

When there is an imbalanced system, then problems arise, and chaotic thoughts set it, which set a chaotic surrounding life.

In order to calm and quite the internal mind, body and soul due to fears of the uncertainty of this time and age, it is essential that we go within.

Going within means recognising our own fears and other emotions and dealing with them, or finding a solution to the possible worries that we have.

If we give our mind a few possible solution and flexibility of thoughts, then changes are possible and stress is reduced, as the answer to our problems comes to us.

If the stress mode is off, then we can manage to digest our foods properly, by switching our stress mode to the digestive mode, which is also the one for a calm and relax mode.

This leads to eating healthy, knowing what foods bothers us and what helps us. Exercise more, or being outdoor more to breathe and connect to nature.

Enjoying our lives much more. Focusing on our next step or present step and being more grounded.

The soul well being is also essential, and it can be your own religion or just re-connecting to your soul and heart.

Our heart is considered the 5th brain.

How can we reconnect to our heart and our soul? Here are simple exercises that most people can do:

  • If we take about 5 minutes every day, breathing from our belly, breathing in, our belly goes out, so the diaphragm takes in more air, breathing out, our belly goes in, so it squeezes out the toxic air.
  • You can count from 3 to 6 with each in breath and each outbreath, breathing in through your nose and breathing out through your mouth. You can do this in the open when you are doing your walking meditation or indoor sitting down, so that you do not fall asleep.
  • I would also say, breathing in unconditional love from the universe for yourself, and breathing out unconditional love for somebody else that you love (it can be your family, friends or any loved ones), that 3 times. Then you breathe in unconditional love from the universe for yourself and then for somebody else that you know might need it. About 3 times. All this by connecting to your heart, which has got that universal unconditional love and all the space and possibility that you can ever think of. This will also open your heart to love in general.
  • The third set of breathing can be with breathing in unconditional love for yourself, breathing out unconditional love for the world out there where is most needed. This three times.
  • Start grounding by thinking or visualizing them or just saying that you have roots and golden anchors coming from the sole of your feet and the tailbone (at the end of the spine), going down and connecting to the earth, going towards the higher frequency of the earth. Bringing in from the roots and anchors that nourishment from the earth up to your roots and anchors, up to your legs, up to your body, up to your heart, where from there, will expand up to your head and above. Then think or visualize the beautiful sunshine ray of Light coming down from the sun, coming down through your head down to meet with your heart, and from your heart down to your entire body, brightening up the beautiful sunshine light. Like the leaves of a plant that absorb the light and transforms it into nourishment from above. Pay attention to your feet again and the grounding to the earth and then open your eyes.
  • Another grounding meditation is to walk outside and pay attention to your left foot when you put your left foot ahead and pay attention to your right foot when your right foot is ahead. So you end up walking and saying left, right, left, right, till whatever your are thinking or worry about, is gone and that light from the outside world comes in, to shine your internal world.

  1. In order to anchor the grounding, inner strength and calm, you need to choose where you would like to anchor the emotional state, that you can fire when needed, such as a song you feel connected to, or touching one of one of your knuckles, thumb, wrist, earlobes, or anything else that can be easily access to anywhere you are.
  2. Check how grounded you usually are by giving a number from 1 to 10, with 10 being the most grounded.

Answer that you need to get from life, gets to your, through opportunities that present themselves to you in some way or another.

One of the channelling Light with Rose, in my books “Beyond Science II and III” mentioned that in order for Rose life to be lucky and well, she needed in a positive thinking. Telling herself that she can do anything that she puts her mind to. That everything was well, to state things in positive way, instead of say no to everything in life that came her way. The positive mind, would be rewarded with the success in life.

Preparing for the winter and strengthening your immune system mindfully

How the intestinal tract can be protected from damage through eating the right food for you, and supporting its healthy state. Microbiome has been studied for the past 20 years and connected to the health of the individual, from birth to adulthood. This is since I started my University degree in Nutritional Therapy 24 years ago.

Each of us have a bacteria diversity that is unique to us, according to our birth and how many antibiotics we took since birth, without substituting the good bacteria. I know that many questions the use of adding only certain bacteria and the fact that we lost so many commensal and friendly bacteria, just by living in an urban area. Anyone living in a countryside, and in rural areas, have more diversity of our friendly bacteria that we do. My opinion as a nutritional therapists is that we do not want to lose even the few ones that we still have, and ingesting the ones that we can have, even via supplementation is better than nothing at all, especially if a baby had a C-section or a traumatic birth with a set of antibiotic. Whatever you have as a child from birth to two years old, set the grounding for the health of the intestinal tract microbiome, and as studies have shown now, even our brain health.

Intestinal barrier

Bacteria in the stomach is about 1,000/ml – duodenum – 10,000/ml – jejunum 100,000/ml – ileum 100,000,000/ml and large intestine up to 1,000,000,000,000/gm

The role of microbiome in the human body are quite few. Few of these are:

  • Production of short chain fatty acid production (SCFA) in the large intestine, which helps to heal the intestinal tract and the health of the gut barrier.
  • Helps with digestion, breaking down fibers and other undigestible food
  • Satiety, it makes you feel full when you are full.
  • Vitamin production;
  • Intestinal tract motility
  • Psychological health;
  • Regulation of intestinal tract inflammation;( barrier function, colonization (which it means immunity and protection)
  • Microbiota-gut-brain communication from brain, through the support of neurotransmitters such as serotonin and dopamine. Neuromuscular control of peristalsis; flight or flight response as for cortisol production and secretion of mucus.
  • From microbiota to brain: There is vagus nerve activation; Neuropeptides and neurotransmitters such as leptin (for satiety) and serotonin (for feeling good); immune signaling with SigA and barrier integrity signaling  eg. Zonulin, and again with the making of short fatty acids production such as butyrate, acetate, etc.
  • Dysbiosis (which is more of the unfriendly bacteria than the friendly ones) have been connected with depression, cardiac dysfunction, unbalanced cholesterol levels, insulin resistance (insulin does not get into the cells) chronic inflammation and hormones unbalanced.

As for this year, everybody is more aware of keeping healthy. The health of the individual starts from the health of his intestine. Then I would look at the eating pattern at the same time of the intestinal tract health. The mental patterns and the healthy way of seeing life and then the exercise pattern. As an holistic therapist I look at the health of the individual from the physical to the mind and spiritual health.

In babies I look at the health of the birth with what microbiome they have and any possible allergies that they might have if they are breastfed; or what milk they are using.

From Nutrition and over-reaction to food and the environment, to dealing with craniosacral therapy from babies to mothers and adults, as well as using NLP combined with the other therapies to get the person to a state of integration with body, mind and spirit.

Clinical experience of irritable bowel syndrome – Combination treatments to integrate body mind and soul wellness

The intestinal tract has got a barrier from the outside world to the inside of the body. Whatever you eat is considered to be outside your body. It becomes part of your body only when the nutrients that the body needs are absorbed through the gut barrier. There are some nutrients that go through the gut barrier easily, such as glucose and other simple form of sugars. Others needs to be taken into the blood stream through receptors. Everything more or less needs to go through the liver to be dealt with. From the liver, which is the centre in command for given instructions to where everything goes, and what needs to be made and then dispatched into the body for their use. Any excess is stored for future need, such as sugar excess or fat, proteins and some fat-soluble vitamins such as A, D, E, k and water soluble B12. Any other water-soluble vitamin such as B vitamins and vitamin C will be used and/or eliminated through the body elimination system every day. Hence the nutritional value food and the extra vitamin C that you need each day is essential in your diet. If you diet is full of sugar, fat and fast food, then you will eventually be undernourished and hence diseases happen including low immune system.

If you have allergies or intolerances and you keep having them, then the low-grade inflammation in the intestinal tract or in the body, will cause low nutrients status and triggers the new modern age of disease.

So, my training 20 years ago at the University of Westminster, was that the first thing that you need to pay attention to is the gut barrier. There are test for leaky gut, and as I work with over-reaction of foods and allergies through NAET method testing and treating, I assume that if the person has got a lot of reaction to normal foods as well as the environment and other nutrients, that the intestinal tract barrier is leaky or has been affected by it.

What causes irritable bowel syndrome. Well I wrote a very short booklet about my own clinical experience with IBS. It is on amazon and you can easily get it to know what it is and what simple measure you can do to address the changes. Some changes need to be long term, and some might be short with lasting effect. It depends on the trigger of your IBS symptoms.

What are the main causes of IBS and possible colic for babies who intestinal barrier might be leaky due to just being born.

Babies are affected more when one parent or both parents have any type of allergies. If the mother who is breastfeeding is highly intolerant or reacting to dairy, eggs and gluten/wheat, or another food that might trigger a non-mast cell histamine release in the milk.  Only animal studies have been done on this, which connected histamine released from the intestinal tract where increasing the release of histamine in the mammary gland, which is then passed on to the baby or reduced the synthesis of casein, which means less milk protein in the milk. In simple words, if the mother is allergic to some food and keep eating it, there is a chance that the baby will eventually react to that particular food due to high histamine release, this is my theory and as I mentioned no studies have been done on this yet.

Babies intestinal tract also needs to be filled with good bacteria and this ground base of bacteria depends on the type of birth they had. Vaginal birth will give the baby the start of the bacteria that the mother has. If that is a full of friendly bacteria, then this is a good start. If the mother has got more yeast and has not taken any food supply of friendly bacteria, than it is probable that the bacteria that colonize the baby intestine is more of the yeast type.

With C-section and possible water birth then the bacteria will be of a different type.

If the baby is breastfed than usually the colostrum, which comes before the milk, will pave the way for the intestinal tract to colonize more of the friendly bacteria.

If the baby is bottle fed for any reason, then the bacteria that grows is different from the breastfed. The baby that is born with C-section, antibiotics through the mother or given for any reason necessary at birth than will have less chance of the commensal and friendly bacteria to colonize and form the cement of good health.

The good news is that in the modern life, you can give the baby the friendly bacteria from the start. Such as bifidus infantis or any infantis probiotics. I would suggest biocare range, bio-kult and optibac. Optibac has got less lactose if any of the babies are reacting to the dairy lactose.

The baby microbiome in the intestinal tract will have a massive impact on the health of the baby later on, including mental health. The first two years of the baby intestinal tract colonization with the friendly bacteria are essential and vital for that well-being. You can colonize the intestinal tract at any time, if you are having a baby and you are reading this, I would suggest to support that colonization as soon as possible.

A healthy intestinal tract paves the way to a healthy digestion, less allergies or over reaction to food, as the friendly bacteria make products to support the repair and support of the mucosal intestinal barrier.

Many studies recently have connected the health of the mucosal intestinal barrier with the mental health and with the maintenance of healthy neurotransmitters such as serotonin, which has many receptors in the intestinal tract. Dopamine and acetylcholine, are all essential for the happy mood and reduction of anxiety, short term memory and movements.

Hence intake, even as an adult of friendly probiotics are essential for our mental and physical health. Of course, in an ideal world, you would get all these friendly bacteria by being in the wild and nature. You would get more various strains of bacteria that we have lost in the modern life, and might loose even more now with all the extra cleaning. In some studies, the variety of the friendly bacteria in people in the wild where about 40 to 60 times more than someone who lives in the city.

As we cannot all live in nature for now, we need to be happy with what we have, which is a combination with acidophilus and bifidus bacteria. I would suggest Solgar Advanced multibillion dophilus, BioCare probiotics, G&G bifidus and any other high bifidus variety. There are some studies that have shown that bifidus longum is essential for the reduction from an early age of gluten allergies or prevents the trigger of the genetic make up of a baby/adult of the reaction to gluten in the intestinal tract.

What are the main causes of IBS:

  • Allergies, intolerances due to the class of antibodies over reaction, with the worse being IgE, IgG, IgM, IgA (the latter being specific for the intestinal tract and all the mucosal barrier in the body, including the lungs).
  • Stress – the stress mode, which it is called the sympathetic response, will shut down the parasympathetic neurological pathway, which is the one that opens the valves of the digestive system. You cannot run and eat at the same time without the consequence of having diarrhoea or constipation and pain later on!
  • Constipation due to dietary choices or physical problems
  • Parasites/ gastroenteritis. Past and present.
  • Traumatic events, which leads to constant stress mode, even when the person does not feel stressed.
  • Emotions and feelings that are not dealt with.
  • Foods and drinks that supports stress and the growth of unfriendly bacteria in the intestinal tract.
  • SIBO (small intestinal bacteria overgrowth). This is due to constipation, the valve between the small intestine and the large intestine being open when it should be shut. This might be due to long term constipation, and stress.
  • Many more reasons, and I would recommend people who have IBS to read my booklet the “clinical experience of irritable bowel syndrome” and/or book an appointment with myself to be guided and supported in dealing with the resolution of the IBS symptoms. Click here to buy the book on amazon

I would add to the probiotics the importance of the liver function as it is the centre of dispatches, similar to amazon really!

Natural food to support the liver are bitter foods, such as artichokes leaves, rockets, radicchio, chicory. Beetroot is also quite good for the liver detox.

Supplements in case of drinking or genetic low function of the liver detox, are milk thistle, artichokes, glutamine, l-cysteine, SAMe, and many more.

Milk thistle supports the liver as well as the mucosal intestinal barrier. Pomegranate juice and seeds also supports the bifidobacterial and hence the intestinal tract barrier, as well as being high in anti-oxidants such as lutein and lycopene.

Guidelines for working face to face – Nutritional Therapy – Craniosacral Therapy +

The workplace room and home will have the following in place, till this is required by the Government and Nutritional Association CNCH association and CSTA guide lines.

Our world as we knew it has changed and for at least the next year or so till there is a better solution for the pandemic virus of 2020, the following guidelines will be in place. This will include working with adults, children and babies, guidelines. As with any other bacteria and viruses, there is no guarantee that we would not catch it, the liability waiver/disclaimer will need to be signed for the first time back and new client for face to face.

In order for me to do the job that I love and carry on the job that I love, which is helping people to heal and get better, I would respect and understand the rules and guideline. Read the following through well.

As we all going to live a more sociable life soon and travelling via plane, that includes myself, I would also encourage people to follow the Government guidelines for that. As it will be impossible for me to do a 15 days isolation, every time someone has got a scare, and make a living only with the face to face sessions, I would recommend to think of my other ways of working, which are still very effective and valid to improve your health; the new tools of NLP will be even more empowering for your own self-healing.

Face to face sessions will be done only for 3 days a week. Two week day and Saturdays, same times 9.30am to the last appointment at 5pm. A max of 4 people will be seen during one day with a two days separation as to give me the time to wash and dry everything that I use during the consultations at the end of the day. The other two days will be dedicated to online consultations and distance healing.

In order to be flexible with the days of working face to face, the first person to book the appointment for a particular day, will lead that week days of working.

I strongly encourage people to consider distance healing, (under the Certified Angel Guide), especially if they are worried about catching the virus, or live with the High-risk people group or themselves are in the high-risk group. The treatment, will have the same benefit and outcome of the face to face craniosacral therapy.

Spiritual healing and craniosacral therapy for me has been hand in hand since the beginning of my training in 2010/11. Hence with my knowledge and awareness that I have accumulated so far, this will be my new way forward in the long run. Please read on my website for more information about distance healing.

Nutritional therapy by itself can be easily done on line and either via Skype, which is under my email esposito_m@yahoo.co.uk or what’s up video call. Follow ups for nutritional advice can be done for 30 minutes via call, skype or what’s up.

NAET and nutritional therapy will be done half and half. 40 minutes phone call, for the extra information that I need after the health check form and food diary has been emailed and signed or everything could be filled via phone call if not possible to email me the information. This is part of the actual consultation and treatment. The rest of the consultation face to face, testing and treatment will be done in 45 minutes at a booked day and time after the guidelines have been read and a liability waiver/disclaimer has been signed. This will be kept on each person file and be valid for any subsequent visits face to face.

NLP teaching tools for various can be done either online, via skype, what’s up or phone call. Read on my website for the benefit of the work with NLP. This will be combined with my knowledge and experience as a complementary therapist for the past 30 years.

Here are the guidelines for face to face work and home visits:

From my part:

  • Door handles, doorbells, switches, gate entrance handle, toilets button and toilets, as well as the sink tap will be cleaned before, and after each client. The couch rolls will be on the couch as usual, there will be no couch cover. The couch will be disinfected before and after each client. Any chair will have the couch rolls on them when used by clients, and will be disinfected before each client and between clients.
  • Toilets facilities will have a hands-free soap dispenser and paper-towel/tissue to wipe hands.
  • The premises will be cleaned before and in between clients. The sitting couch and chairs will have couch paper or a cover that can be wiped and disinfected before and after each client, a couch cover will also be placed underneath the plastic cover, that will be washed at the end of each day. All the washing will be done according to the suggested guidelines, at 60 + degree and separated from my own washing.
  • I will change my clothes between each client, and wash my hands and harms and hand sanitize them.
  • Blankets and pillow cases, will be changed for each client. You can also bring your own blanket if possible.
  • Toys for children will be washed and then put in the dish washer, or disinfectant between each child. Only toys that are washable will be shared. If possible, please bring your own child’ toy to play, and books to read for them, as books will not be shared for the time being.
  • The room will be ventilated for 20 minutes, through opening the windows, between client. I will use also a homemade spray with tea tree oil, lemon, lavender and peppermint oil; if you are allergic to any of them let me know before the appointment.
  • Appointment timing will be spread to an hour apart, so that will give enough time to clean the premises. For this reason, I am asking the clients to be on time for their appointments as much as they can, and we will finish withing the 45 minutes or an hour, according to the appointment booked.
  • I will wear a mask, and cotton gloves during the treatments till this is required by law, and one pair of cotton gloves per client or household.
  • The disclaimer for new follow ups sessions from July 2020 and 1st time treatments needs to be signed and emailed before the appointment. If you do not have a printer, I can print the page for you. You need to bring your own pen to sign the document.
  • As required by the new rules, please bring your own water and pen to write anything relevant.
  • Clients need to check 24 hours in advance of any appointment, if they or anyone in their household is experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms.

Clients part to follow:

  • I am asking each client to check their own temperature before each appointment. As I will do the same for myself and my family, each day of face to face.
  • Clients if possible, needs to bring their own hand-gel sanitizer or wash their hands as soon as they enter the premises before touching anything else, especially if they have travelled via bus or train.
  • Clients, needs to wear new clean socks that are used only for the treatment and be changed at the end of the treatment.
  • If possible, payment should be paid via bank transfer or pay-pal if living outside England, one day prior to the appointment. You can still pay cash on the day.
  • You can only use your own pen and water as per suggested so do bring them.
  • Clients need to check 24 hours in advance of any appointment, if they or anyone in their household is experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms

Home visits:

  • Same rules apply for home visits, what I am asking for the people to do is to add extra clean cover for my visits in places where I can seat.
  • I will have a hand-gel sanitizer that I will use before I enter the premises. I will use a different mask from the one that I used on the train/bus.
  • I will wear clean cotton mask and cotton gloves for each household.
  • If I am treating a toddlers or baby, I will wear a clean beautician coat that I will wear once I enter your home.
  • Just bear in mind that I might need to use your toilet if I need to travel to you, so ensure that handle doors and toilet button will be disinfected before and after I leave.
  • I will bring my own water and pens.
  • Any health-check form and disclaimer/waiver need to be signed before the face to face appointment, if you do not have a printer, use your own pen to sign the waiver.
  • In order for myself and you to be as stress free as possible, only book a home visits or face to face if you are absolutely ok with everything that can happen.

Babies treatment at home or home visits

This CPD workshop for craniosacral therapists, is an ideal tool to deal with clients who are stuck in the past, with emotions that are stronger than they should be when dealing with small matters. This method is appropriate for the client who keep being angry at the world or attract angry people to them all the time. This tool has been taken from the NLP tool kit and combines very well with craniosacral Therapy

Same as all the other emotions of sadness, exaggerated emotional fears, pain and hurt, blame, guilt, shame, envy, jealousy, resentment and many other emotions that the person feel.

This is the right time, that we all need to deal with our own emotions, so that we can move on to a more positive and happy times. We start working for ourselves first, in order for the people and the world around us can go up in frequency. Each person can reach their full potential when they let go of the past and old emotions that keep them in the same place over and over again. All the energy will then flow to more positive and constructive things in their lives.

This is mainly practical. It is run twice a year or more, according to the demand and the venue can change between Hornsey Vale and my home.

Water: LIQUID GOLD, THE MOST VALUBLE LIQUID IN THE WORLD

I wrote the article below a while back, just a reminder for you why water is so essential to life. Also adding why mineral water is better than tap water to drink every day.

Bottled water have different percentage of all microminerals essential for our body. Different type of water from various sources have different percentage. So, my suggestion is to drink bottle of water of various sources to be interchanged every week or so. Tap water have more chloride and other disinfectant and filtered water is less mineral as well. It can be used for cooking though or teas. This is essential especially for children and adults who do not eat a lot of green leafy vegetables.

Water is the most important treasure on earth, without drinking water you could die in about three days. If you are one of the many people that do not drink enough water, here are some reasons for you to start drinking more of this precious liquid.

Why should we drink a minimum of 8 glasses of water per day?

Normally, approximately 2.5 liter of water is required each day for a fairly sedentary adult in a normal environment to replace the total loss of water that occurs though urine, faces, skin and lungs.

To replace the water loss about 1 to 1.2 liter needs to be in drinks, (manly water or cold herbal teas), 0.9 ml is taken through food and 0.3ml will be made by the body (oxidative metabolism).

(Lloyd).

In an animal study, where water was restricted the animal were highly irritable and, in some cases, bad tempered

Thirst

It has been shown that under intense activity a man will voluntarily drink only about half as much water as what is needed to replace his losses from sweating and urine. Only after food and rest does a person crave the water needed to replace the deficit.

Herbal teas

Ingestion of hot drinks may cause internal body temperature to rise, which will result in sweating in order to cool the body down. Hot drinks are sometimes used in medical practice when it is desired either to temporarily increase body temperature or induce sweating. Therefore, cold or cool drinks are preferred to hot drinks to replace fluid during the day, especially if the hot drinks are the only fluid daily intake.

Sugary drinks

During physical activities lasting less than 90 minutes, water is generally the beverage of choice, however, the inclusion of small concentrations of carbohydrate (6%-8% carbohydrate) have been shown to better sustain power output over water alone during physical activities that produce fatigue in 60 minutes or longer.

CoQ10: What is it for? where do you find it? and Why you need to take extra?

Coenzyme Q10 is part of the Quinone’s family (ubiquinone’s). CoQ10 is found in all living cells and hence the name ubiquitous and it is concentrated in many foods, including nuts and vegetables oils. However, it can be lost in cooking or air.

Like vitamin C and E, CoQ10 is also a powerful antioxidant also for water and lipid soluble molecules. It is in high concentration in the heart, as it is involved in the making of the energy and therefore the heart is the one that is needed most. Vitamin C and E help to recycle the coQ10 as well. If you are low in the two vitamins, then also coQ10 can be affected.

CoQ10 is a co-enzyme, it works as an essential nutrient for the enzymes that manage the making of the energy for your body to function well. Some studies showed that Coq10 may reduce blood pressure, as well as protect the heart, enhances performances in athletes and in people with chronic fatigue syndrome maybe of most beneficial in combination with a change of life style and healing of possible emotional and physical traumas.

CoQ10 is found in high sources in organ meats such as kidney, liver and heart, and meat and fish in general, however, it is also found in spinach, broccoli, cauliflower, beans and legumes, soybeans, nuts of any kind and many other vegetables. The amount that we get from food is good if you do not have a heart problem or chronic fatigue or taking any statins. The extra supplement can also be taken if you have a gum disorder, which includes inflammation or the gum or receding gums.

Statins reduces coQ10 availability quiet a lot, hence it is important to take it, if you have problems with the heart or have a family history of heart problems. If your muscles start to ache after a year or 2 on statins, do take up to 600 mg of CoQ10, change your diet and make it healthier so that your cholesterol goes down (which it means cutting down on all sugar and sugary foods, as well as fried food with vegetable oil, as the combination of the two can increase the harmful cholesterol).

There are no serious side effects on any of the studies even at high dosage.

CoQ10 has also been reported to have high benefits in gum disease and disorders as well as some of the neurotransmitters disorders such as Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s.

Dosage recommended is about 50 mg and up to 300 mg or more per day. CoQ10 is a fat-soluble vitamin and needs to be taken with food, possible in capsules or drops under the tongue.

Please Note: The above should not be a substitution for any medication that has been suggested by your doctor.

Cranio-Sacral Therapy (CST)

Cranio-sacral therapy is a subtle and profound healing form.

In a typical cranio-sacral session, you will usually lie fully-clothed on a treatment couch. The therapist will make contact by placing their hands usually lightly on your body and tuning in. The first thing you will probably notice is a sense of deep relaxation, which will generally last throughout the session. This release of tension often extends into everyday life.

Sometimes the benefits are not immediately noticeable but become obvious on returning to a familiar environment. The work is often deeply moving and exhilarating.

The benefit can also be noticed after few days in some people. The experience is different from each baby, child or adult according to their own need of balance and adjustments.

I use CST by itself or with Nutritional advice and NAET treatments to integrate the entire body mind system at a deeper level. I notice that the body respond much more to the NAET treatments and the person feels more complete and healthier in body and mind, each time by releasing old patterns and old issue stored in the body.

CST has been used for babies as soon as they come into life to help the baby system to settle into a normal rhythm and vitality. Very helpful for mothers as well as it help with rebalance the normal rhythmic motions of their system after their labor that is traumatic or not.

Mothers that have seen me for CS also see a benefit from the therapy when their children are teething. I would put an big advice to all mother to have their own treatments after birth and in time of stress as that helps the children as well. As mothers we are connected very much to our children and vice-versa. Quite often we forget that our emotional and physical health is as important as our children…

My experience of Cranio-sacral therapy and my clients experience of what it does:

baby-in-hands1

  1. It is called craniosacral, because the of the spinal fluid going from the cranio to the sacral is what makes everything function well and properly. All the nerves and nerve communication from the brain to the body and from the body to the brain go through there and it is all connected like a tree with branches and roots. What the cranio-sacral therapist does is listening to the rhythm of that fluid and feel if there is any blockage in the body, memory cells of the tissue and the mind as well as the energetic field around that body to see if it is breathing well and properly. If there is a blockage just our training and knowledge will help the mother, baby and adult unblock the blockage and rebalance the system or body function.
  2. Memory cells – my experience with Craniosacral therapy was amazing. So I took him to cranio-sacral and it took a while as I took him to the Student clinic but they got rid of his traumatic birth and finally his colds and coughs were reduced to once a year and now not even once a year. He can now fight the colds very easily and usually gets over anything much easier than any other child that I know. My own experience with CS was that even after 7 years since the labor my memory cells body still retained that trauma. I had epidural so I did not feel mentally any pain, but my body did. And all that pain and trauma was still pretty stored in my tissues. Finally I got rid of it with CS and it is amazing the difference it made even to my personal life physically and emotionally.
  3. Some of the children and babies that I treated with CS had some traumatic birth or even not and what some of the issues that reduced were:
  • Colic’s which are very frequent in babies,
  • Frequency of throwing up the milk
  • Sleeping better and more peacefully
  • Stronger connection with mother and babies (the mother needs to be treated as well as the baby for both Reflux and connection with the baby)
  • clinging babies or toddlers

Other problems that have been helped with my treatment of CS are:

  • teething,
  • coughing,
  • frequent colds for the babies,
  • toddlers and children,
  • reduction of allergies,
  • reduced irritation, which have led to a happier and more communicative toddler,
  • Reduction and or elimination of night terror in toddlers and children in general.

Starting life with a great balance system is one of the huge benefit that the baby will have in coping any of the issue that life brings. Babies treated with CS have a more positive and happier attitude in life and feel more confident of their journey. They have a happier attitude in life and feel more confident of their journey.

Nutritional Therapy and Cranio-Sacral Therapy combined

Migraines and headaches (see reference tab)

Sinus problems

Food intolerances

Skin problems

Female hormonal and menstrual imbalances (see reference tab)

Arthritis (improving life quality)

Weight problems

Lack of energy

Bloating, constipation, diarrhoea

Frequent colds and infections

Premenstrual syndrome

Candida

Irritable Bowel syndrome

Preconception care – Pregnancy and post-natal nutrition

For all the conditons above a medical check up should have been done for the diagnoses of each condition.
