Do you know your baby’s cry? New Mothers and craniosacral therapy

For the new mothers out there, just a gentle reminder to understand that their baby cry for a reason. It is good they they cry to communicate what they need to tell you. If they never cry, one you might not know his way of communicating that something is not quite right. So do remember to learn your baby way of communication. If they had a traumatic birth they might be crying a bit more than the usual simple communication. In that case have at least two to 3 sessions of craniosacral therapy. CST is probably the only one that can be used on babies and it is safe, gentle and powerful all at once.

Meanwhile, learn what kind of cry your baby has with each different time. Do you know their hunger cry? or I want a cuddle cry? or I am wet and dirty cry? or I am in pain and I do not like cry? By the time they are 6 months old, you as a mother will know your baby pretty well and you will know when something is not quite right and when things are just simple and easy such as a need for food, or for a sleep. Remember also that you might need a rest and to be gentle to yourself as well. As a mother you have the inner instinct that will go up during pregnancy and afterwards as well, and in order for you to be vigilant you do need to take care of yourself as well as the baby!
